Strong!
I bought this for my 100 lb pit/mastiff. She is huge and heavy. I love this harness! First of all, this is my first one I’ve tested, so I can’t compare; but the lining inside is furry for added comfort for my dog’s belly, there is a buckle ( I don’t know why), to fasten each end around the stomach, and the handles are padded as well for gripping as you lift or in my case carry/walk her around. She does have arthritis, and this harness makes the process of her walking so much easier on her!

Best product to help a old person pick up a older Dog
Best product I have found to assist in picking up a 98 year old – 40 lb Aussie into the car . It works great for bath time also, now that we have been using a few days she likes its, plus she knows it helps the both of us. Great harness cannot say enough of quality great choice of materials. Great workmanship! Honestly thinking about getting another one just in case.

Good quality for the price
Good sturdy material. I have an older boxer and her chest is way bigger than the rear half of her ribs. This makes the harness slip back on her ribs so I am pretty much just holding her steady as she walks.

Doesn’t work as advertised and NOT RETURNABLE or REFUNDABLE
I can’t imagine this product working as advertised unless your dog has velcro as fur. It is lined with a slick synthetic material and our dog would slide forward and backward in the sling. I guess it was designed to look comfortable as opposed to being actually functional. Certainly our dog didn’t like sliding from one end to the other when we tried to pick her up. I wonder if the seller actually tested picking up an actual, live dog?Unfortunately, I missed the information about it being nonreturnable. Products from other sellers possibly work better; in any case, other vendors may have better return policies for products that don’t work as designed.

This is a great sling!
I needed a sling for my 12 1/2 year old who is having trouble going up/down stairs in order to get to the bedroom. Bought one on Amazon that didn’t quite work well, then saw THIS one. I was happy it was from a small business rather than mass produced. It’s half the price, well made and it works VERY well. I can tighten it tightly around my dog so she feels secure and comfortable going up and down the stairs. Thank you for a great product! And my dog thanks you, too!

Not suitable for stairs
This product is made well. One of the biggest complaints I personally have is that it doesn’t secure to the front of the dog. I DO NOT recommend this harness for anyone that has to descend stairs or vehicles. The dog will slip out of it. The underside material though soft to the touch does create a slippery surface. The harness is only good for a vertical lift, if the dog moves forward, it will fall out. Otherwise, it is made well with decent material. I will make a strap for it and place up front where it belongs hopefully create some balance.

Excellent item
This dog sling arrived quickly and it is a fantastic and comfortable support for my dog . It has nice thick soft padding which makes it very comfortable for her . It is of great quality , I have purchased others in past for much more money that were not nearly as good . Highly recommend.

Not for disabled dogs
I bought this for my German Shepard who had hip dysplasia, it gave no support when lifting. Would not recommend for a disabled pet.
