Definitely would recommend!
Have tried everything as I have a dog with very bad arthritis in his back legs. He is to the point he can’t walk anymore but still has a lot of spunk left. I bought this to try and get him to walk with my help of course. He doesn’t run like he would like to but I get to walk him in the yard and he loves it. Very easy to put on and off. Just make sure you have the strength in your arm to hold your dog’s weight from his hind legs. You are literally holding and maneuvering his weight in your arm. The best product so far I have bought and very happy with it. Would definitely recommend it to someone whose dog has problems walking due to health issues or old age. Came very well packaged with directions.

The worst lift i have ever owned
This is an prime example of a company trying to copy a legitimate item but doing it horribly. No instructions included on how to adjust the harness to fit your dog. The leg measurements do nothing for the overall hip size and the clip is way to small to securely fit around the dogs rear end. Ended up injuring my dog while trying to lift him in this harness as his butt went backwards putting his arthritic legs into a painful spread eagle. This item should be immediately delisted from amazon.

Needs a waist ban to stay put
This product works in helping my GSD with myelopathy get up and walk but it does not stay put. Slips down on its own. Since heâs using a male wrap incontinence pad ( heâs 14 ) I just made something to hold the harness in place. This has to be worn 24 hours for pet parents to be able to grab it as soon as their dogs need to get up, even middle of the night if youâre still awake. Rated this a 4 star because manufacturer should have thought of having a waistband from the start. Not everyone has the imagination to do this and item just gets sent back to the seller which is a pain for them on what they have to do with these used items. If your dog isnât using pampers, make a waistband with Velcro and a harness holder with Velcro to keep it in place. For a dog weighing over 100 lbs, this harness hurts him on the hip of his good leg. I just lift him on the weak leg, and let him walk on his own with the slightly functional leg. He does sometimes attempt to run with it since it makes him feel mobile⦠overall, it makes him move around when I am there to help him. These are a bit complicated to put on. Needs a bit of patience. My dog doesnât mind having it on. Unlike the other brand I got, more pricey and had a lot of buckles that would be on his hip bone when heâs lying on his side. Imagine having something hard and bulky on your hip when youâre trying to sleep. Very bad idea. This particular brand I have on my dog is comfortable and breathable. I have two of these because it needs to be washed a lot since my dog has skin issues.

Just use a towel if it’s short term (recovery)
it just didn’t work for my dog. She had surgery on both rear legs and this harness is not what she needed. The design just seems bad. There is no support connecting the two leg holes under her belly so it was always trying to pull her legs out to the side. It looks good in the pictures but it just doesn’t work like that. I just used a towel under her rear end to help her around until she didn’t need help (after I purchased 2 sizes of this harness that are now covered in dog hair and can’t be sent back.)

Good quality, difficult to put on.
This did not work for my lab as he has a bum back leg so he canât put a lot of weight on just one leg. To get the straps on he has to either step into the loop or you have to set his paw through the loop. Quality material, it just doesnât work effectively for the use I needed it for.

Helpful
Its much easier to help my 70 lb German Shepard walk with this. I only life her back legs now not her whole rear end. And she also likes it much much better and as a plus it doesn’t push on her bladder

I have tried several other rear lift harnesses. None of them worked. Especially due to my Australian shepherd had docked tail. I almost gave up. Then I thought to try this one. It works perfectly. My dog (male) can pee and poop without any problem. It is easy to help him get up with this harness. It is also easy and comfortable to use for my dog and myself. Very happy.

Me gusto mucho , lo uso los dÃas que salgo a caminar un poco más de cuenta con mi perra , ya tiene 17 años y se cansa de su cadera y disfruta más sus mini paseos

Works ok, but not really for a big dog. My German Shepherd is 100 lbs plus and the item is rated for this weight, but given that he has major rear end mobility problems, it is not really well suited to a dog of this weight. I would however think it would work well for a smaller dog, say under 50 lbs.

Es muy bueno. Fácil de poner. Pero se zafa fácilmente. DeberÃa de tener algo que lo agarre para que no se mueva .
