Dog Knee Brace Helped My Dog Fully Recover After Accident
My dog learned to walk normally again after using this comprehensive brace and harness. After the accident he would not use all four legs to walk. After using the brace he felt confident enough to use his hind legs again. The smartly placed handles were able to lift him up and gently allow him to walk at his own pace. The harness is more stable and supportive than a collar. The longer leash let him walk at the pace he wanted. He didnât mind putting on or taking off the harness because it is simple and adjustable. The video was extremely helpful to understand the best way to put it on, adjust it and walk him most effectively. It fits him well and he seems comfortable in it. Iâm glad I bought it for him because he is up and running again! The Velcro made it adjustable so it hugged him where he needed support. The handles were great in the beginning when I had to hold him up until he gradually took his own weight on all four legs. Thank you!

Fine quality and very good support
First thing I noticed was the quality of this brace. The materials of this item look and feel fantastic. And the craftmanship is just beautiful, it is so well made.My old dog is having trouble walking because of his hips and I hope to keep him moving for as long as possible. I haven’t had it long enough to know if it will really help him. But I know a brace makes a huge difference in how my bad knee feels. So it’s worth a try for him, right? I can tell you that with all the adjustments, it fits like a glove. Every part of it can be adjusted. I will warn you, it looks like a big tangle of straps when you first look at it! Don’t let that get you, it makes perfect sense once you really look at it for a minute. Apparently it is also comfortable, my dog doesn’t mind wearing it, and I can tell you, he would let me know! So I will try to continue my review after he has had a chance to wear it awhile. I hope I can tell you that his walking has improved and that he is acting like his hips are less painful. But I wanted to let you know how good the quality of this brace is in case you are trying to decide whether or not to buy it.I put this review aside and kind of forgot about it. But I want to finish it now, in case someone is on the fence about getting it. I wish I had gotten the brace when my dog’s hips first started getting bad.Several weeks have gone by. My sweet old friend, who was by my side for 14 years, has passed. I still want to talk about that brace. I feel like it really made a significant difference in the quality of the last weeks of my dog’s life.We still had our daily walks, which by that time mainly consisted of Biscuit wobbling down the road with me trying to keep his back legs under him. He was a hundred pounds and it was hard to handle that much weight. Once I bought the brace it was much easier. For one thing, there were handles by his shoulders and hips that I could grab and steady him. For the other thing that brace had an adjustable pad on each side that was snug against his hips. That pressure against each hip seemed to make his gait more normal and less painful. I think it was like when you wrap a bad ankle, you have less pain and can walk better.Another thing I wanted to mention was how those pads that fit over his hips not only gave support to his hips, but also served to protect them if he did fall. Hip dysplasia causes a dog to fall sometimes and I was so scared that one of his fragile old bones would break.Biscuit still loved life and having that brace helped him to enjoy his routines a little bit longer, for which I am grateful. I didn’t get to use this brace very long, but I am sure glad that I went ahead and bought it. I didn’t even know about braces for dogs with hip dysplasia until I happened upon this one on Amazon. I wish I had purchased it much sooner for him.

Buyer Bewareâ¦returning is to China on you!
This product has to be returned to China, which is not evident in the product description. I think the wording is unclear and I would warn buyers away, because the product is larger and more awkward then it appears and expensiveâ¦with a costly if not impossible to return. The label is sent with Chinese characters and doesnât not print accurately. I had high hopes for this product for my injured Aussie, but buyer bewareâ¦.

Careful with the size!
Very good quality, but the size recommendations are way off. I bought it for my german shepherd and chose the size recommended for that specific breed. It’s huge! Had to give it away.

Product is exactly what I needed. I ordered several versions for my dogs post operation recovery (and foreseeable future). I sent everything else back, this is a superior project. Easy enough to use, even with a difficult Husky.

Great for my German Shepherd
Product is great quality, have another product from this brand. German has degenerative myopathy, so the backend system wasnât quite what she needed, but kept the shoulder harness due to cushioned support and heavy duty stitching. Would recommend it especially for its intended use for hip dysplasia.

Works as advertised
Definitely eased our dogs discomfort when walking. Once fitted properly, it slips over his back legs and Velcro’s together easily on top. The top strap to the shoulder harness (we use our own shoulder harness) is a must to keep the rear leg supports from slipping. It takes a couple of sessions to get him used to it, but he obviously feels the difference. Allows plenty of clearance (under and behind) for him do do his business.Overall a good quality product, worth the purchase.

Game changer. Reduced pain, increased mobility
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My dog has hip dysplasia; he would barely stand up if laying down for quite some time, you can tell he was in pain and struggle with what appears to be cramps. We had to stop allowing him to run and play with his brother. This hip support changed everything. He got adjusted to use it very fast, and he is able to stand up and run. Our mischievous doggie is back; Not only he is very happy, but his brother as well, as they can play together again.
