Petthrive was originally recommended to me by my Vet. I purchased the 12 oz jar as pictured for my senior 14 year old basenji who has a little arthritis in his hips. I notice he is more active and able to move around and is not stiff. He enjoys his walks more. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because he does not like the taste much. He will not eat them directly out of my hand. I have to crumble the Petthrive chew up in his dry food and add some Heinz Beef Gravy to make it more palatable to him. Once I do that, then he will eat all of his food with the Petthrive in it.
