Must Have!!
This is a Must Have for puppies!! Amazing that it stays on for 12 hours!! I have used this non stop for the last 3 weeks with my new litter of puppies. They love the warmth it gives off.

Described as INDOOR/OUTDOOR pet heating pad. Insert that came with the product said for INDOOR use only. Was returned for a refund. This might be a good product for indoor use, but that isn’t what I purchased it for.

What my cats need for the winter
I have to say I absolutely love this heating pad. I used to have a heating blanket that I placed underneath my cats’ bed for winter so I don’t have to turn on heat through out the day. However, it is every big and doesnt really heat up. BUT THIS is the best fit for that purpose! My cats love it. You can also wash the outer cover.

Worked great until my dog easily chewed through it and destroyed it. You’d think it would be tougher material considering dogs are known to chew stuff. Do NOT recommend if your dog is younger than 2 years or is keen to chew things. It won’t last longer than a day.

UPDATE! OVERHEATS!!!! DO NOT USE!!! COULD START A FIRE!!!
Update to my original 5 star review! I am sorry to have to update this review and change my original 5-star review to a one star review but this is NOT safe! It overheated and began smoking/melting and I had to throw it out. It was unsafe for my cats and dog and had this happened at night when we were asleep instead of during the day when I smelled the stink of melting and burnt materials we could have had a really DEADLY situation on our hands! This heating pad should NOT be purchased or left on with animals while unattended – it could definitely start a fire!As I write this review I am looking at two cats curled up together on this lovely velvety heating pad. It’s clearly a huge hit with them! I love that I can put it on a timer to allow them to get warm but not have to worry about leaving it on while I am gone or asleep. The removeable and washable cover is great and the longer wire for the plug allows me to move it about without being limited in where I can place it. Currently it is on my couch. I love the many levels of warmth and that I can adjust them so that my old lady cat (17 years old) can get warmer and comfortable and yet I can turn it down to a cooler temperature as well. This is definitely going to be the most popular item to nap on in the house!
