Great brace to protect my dog’s elbows!
Exactly what my dog needs! My dog has arthritis, but prefers to lay on the hard floor rather than the many dog beds we have all over the house. He developed calluses on his elbows that turned into open sores. We spent 2 months doing open wound care with daily bandage changes, antibiotics, and biweekly vet visits to get him healed. This has been working fabulously to keep his elbows cushioned so it doesn’t happen again. He seems to be comfortable wearing this on a daily basis and it has held up well with being washed once to twice a week. My dogs are accustomed to wearing coats, shirts, costumes, etc so fortunately does not chew at it. It is easy to put on him and easy to remove or adjust. We are very happy with this brace and I highly recommend it. Our veterinarian was impressed with it as well.

Easy to put on! Good brace!
My puppy hurt her leg and was limping. She would play then limp then be fine then rinse and repeat. I got this brace for her and it helped her to heal. It restricted her enough to wear she didn’t play as hard. She was still able to move fairly freely which was great. This brace was very easy to put on and take off. The instructions were simple and helpful.

says itâs a frequently returned item, Iâd say itâs probably for size adjustments. Because this fits my Great Pyrenees lab mix really well and he is a large size. He has an elbow hygroma and this is helping with better support and cushioning from slamming on the floor when laying down.

It works, but it’s an awkward fit
My dog had a sprained elbow, and while this works really well at minimizing shoulder movement, the L size was nowhere near long enough to cover my dogs elbow, as such it didn’t slow her down too much.After a few hours of wear, she chewed through the plastic buckle holding the two straps together.Had to replace it with some metal wire to keep the dog from breaking it again.It kind of works, but it’s not great for elbow problems if your dog doesn’t have stubby legs.
