Cooling vest that worked great as a vest to help with our dog’s autoimmune disease!
This vest was a life saver!! Our dog has an autoimmune disease that affects his skin. He was constantly itching his neck and back and would get it infected and his wound never healed. We ordered everything, tried everything from bandanas to outfits to wear after surgery, to wide neck bands and collars. It was during the summer when the weather was hot so we wanted something breathable and something thick enough so he could scratch with his paws. This vest was great. It’s breathable, lightweight but enough thickness to keep him from getting to his wound. It washes so nice, due quickly and so easy to put on him. We love this best plus we can use it for what it was meant to be… A cooling vest!!

Perfect for large dogs -adjustable.
Have 3 Dobermans of all weights and sizes..ordered xxl for them. I love the straps to adjust the fit. I have a 70 lb female, 90 lb male and female. They fit all the same cause you can adjust it to stay on. We hike a lot in hunting areas so want to have them safe and sound and the piece of mind with these on are great. I love in the summer they don’t get too over heated with an extra layer. One of my females laid in mud on a trail so happy to report they wash really well. Impressed with the fit and quality of this item.

Definitely a good purchase for what I wanted these vests for. I have 3 adult labs & we go hiking in the woods a lot. 1 is a chocolate so she tends to blend in & 1 likes to wander so itâs nice to see her if she gets too far. The 3rd dog does good staying close & not getting into trouble so he just matches the girls lolThe dogs can swim in these vest & they hold up nicely. Because of the mesh top layer it can be annoying to pick out stickers, leaves & other dirt or brush from the vests but itâs not that bad. They clean up great so itâs not a bad deal. Iâve noticed it keeps my dogs cool when theyâre running around & being crazy but also keeps them warm with a thin inside layer of fleece.The design of the best is great too because itâs hard for the dogs to slip out of them. My chocolate HATES wearing âclothesâ but she gets over wearing this vest pretty fast which is good. I like that I only have 2 buckles to worry about instead of 4 of something. It also doesnât rub under their front legs either which is great!!!We havenât gone hiking yet this week because itâs been rainy but Iâm excited to see how they do in the winter! Finally – a vest that fits!
My dog is 112 pounds and it has been challenging to find a good, bright vest that fits and is comfortable. We do a lot of hiking and we live in hunting country, so I have been on the search for a vest that would be seen and that my Chocolate Lab will not mind wearing. He barely gave it a notice as he romped off onto the trails. VERY happy with this one! Well designed and well made.

SAFETY, STURDINESS, COMFORT
This vest looks very nice ..but it isnt sturdy imo. Fabric too fragile for dog who runs thru woods..I have a hunting dog. It also has unstable chest belts that loosen up when dog moves/runs. They are elastic and dknt grip firmly. If they came off the dog could be injured. Not SAFE. It also is very heavy..if wet even more so. Not a good match for my active dog so I’m returning it.

Must-have during deer hunting season
I purchased this for my dog when we were going to Northern Michigan for Thanksgiving (deer hunting season). It is GREAT! I ordered the XXL for my 70-pound male golden retriever. I could probably have gotten away with one size smaller, but the XXL worked great. I liked that it went all the way to the base of his tail for optimal coverage. The neck hole is ample, yet he did not squirm out of it. He was comfortable in it and had no problem wearing it all day. The color is very bright orange and the fabric is soft and cushy. If I had one product suggestion it would be to not make the straps quite so stretchy. They stayed just fine, but it is maybe a tad too loose around his chest. Still works great, though. I don’t think this will be an issue.

My dog doesnât tolerate the heat well but needs her walks! This was a great solution. It is very bright for visibility (although people keep asking if she is a service dog) and keeps her cool. She hates having it put on as she doesnât like things going over her head and is pretty sure that water will melt her, but as soon as itâs in she is fine and stays comfortable for our whole walk. On really hot days I bring a bottle of cold water to âreloadâ the jacket if necessary amd of course for her to drink!

This vest is perfect for visibility – especially during hunting season. It keeps my dog dog warm and is easy to clean. He is 110 lb and the 2XL fits well. The only complaint I have is the straps are a bit flimsy.

Works great.Great price. First time i used it i poured a water bottle worth on the vest while he was wearing it, that wasn’t good enough. The next time I laid out the vest on the ground and doused 4L of water on it, that was way better. Being a thick coated black dog, he’s going to get hot regardless wearing a cooling vest, but I’d say he’s 50% cooler than before. I can feel under the vest and feel that his back at least is kept cool. He can stay out longer on hot days with some relief. I’m going to get one for my other dog so she can be as cool as him…He’s 80lbs i got the XXL size. 30degC day.

First off – I liked the colour – makes your dog very visible, which is great. My daughter’s puppy seemed to hate wearing it – he had a look on his face as if he felt like a nerd – he actually walked around with his head down and his tail between his legs… But he got used to it. This did its job and kept him cooler than no vest. It was great for just walking outside on a sunny day. But for free play (and a very active dog) it wasn’t ideal – we found that the fit had a bit too much slack material – so it would get twisted around somewhat. I also think the chest area should be larger for greater cooling. But it did the job (until we got another vest).
