Hot dog cool as an ice cube! ð§
IT WORKS LIKE MAGIC!!! A lifesaver for hot sunny summer days. Pour some water on it and the cooling quickly activates. I got the blue camo print XS size for my 10lb maltipoo. Still a bit big on my pup but with the velcro straps on either side, Iâm able to scrunch and tighten it around his chest. Itâs thin and lightweight. In 80 degree weather with the blazing sun out, Iâm sweating buckets, but my pup is cool as a cucumber and is not panting at all. When itâs cooler outside, he actually gets cold wearing this (thatâs how well it works!) Now I just need to get a human sized one for myself! Definitely worth it for the price, I want to get another color for my other dog too!

Good protection, Easy to put on
I purchased this for a trip to the Oregon High Desert to keep our girl cool. This vest far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to put on and take off, light weight and it stayed on without constant adjustment. We soaked it in water and it held the moisture well. It protected her from the heat, the sun and thorns. It did tear through the first layer but the liner held. She weighs 88lbs so I ordered a XXL. I think I could have ordered a XL, however she has a deep chest. I included the 3rd pic so you could see how it came down over her rump. I would order another one, however they are spendy. I have a Ruff Wear cooling vest and I prefer this one. The Ruff Wear is more difficult to put on her and it fits tightly. I wish they had one in Hunter Orange Camo. I highly recommend this cooling vest!

Pretty good cooling vest
I have a 60 pound male labradoodle. The large is a little too roomy. The medium is too small – he is a trim dog but the belly strap and neck were too tight. I still like the product. It is lightweight and easy to put on. Fits comfortably under my pupâs harness, he isnât bothered by it at all. I havenât needed to refrigerate it. I just appt some water to the vest with a water bottle upon heading out. He is very noticeably cooler on 30-45 min walks and doesnât need to drink as much water on return from walks on hot days. The vest did kind of smell bad (like a factory) upon opening the bag but one wash took care of that. B+ or A-.

I rarely write reviews and had to take the time for this product. Our dog lost hair on her back and its purpose was to shield her from sun. Easy to put on due to the velcro sides. Soft and extremely well made. Lightweight , great look and great fit. Interior packaging had notes from manufacturer about customer satisfaction being a top priority, and included a one year warranty regarding defects. Pricey but well worth it.Solid 5 STAR review.

Did not retain moisture or coolness
One of the better cooling vests we tried (the quality looked decent, and we liked the adjustability of the fit â you velcro it up their back from their belly) but it still didn’t retain water for more than 5-10 minutes.We live in a dry climate, but I was really hoping it’d last longer than one block before turning into a heated blanket. Returned.5 stars for their quick and friendly customer service! This just wasn’t the product for us. Maybe it’s better in humid climates?

Truly an amazing product! Kept my dog cooler for hours! I would highly recommend it to anyone with an Alaskan breed. My dog loved it! Extremely easy to use and stays cold for hours. Just run it under your kitchen sink water, wring it out and put it on your dog! That simple.

I highly suggest getting this! My Boston Terrier would over hear fast playing outside in the son in no time. I got this âshe doesnât like putting it one, must be cold lolâ but once itâs on she can play none stop and âplaying fetch etc, she used to do 3-5 runs and would stop and lay in shadeâ she no longer does that, honestly she can play for a good hour or more, I still make her drink water but this is so great! What a difference it makes! I also bring it when we go fishing in our boat, the floor is finished but just the hot sun beaming down she stays nice and cool! Itâs worth it!

Monty has a heart murmur and we live in a very hot climate 365 days a year. The Lucolove vest helps keep him cool on his walks therefore his heart doesnt have to work so hard â¤ï¸ Monty has the blue camo and the green/brown camo.

The vest looks nice and itâs easy to rinse it under a cool tap before use, which does result in cooling while the vest stays wet. However, itâs just a wet vest. There is no special technology or magic here. It is a single layer of fabric and is polyester or nylon so if itâs dry it could actually be quite hot as it would have a low level of absorbency and therefore no âwickingâ. Good for short walks only but be aware what you are getting. Itâs a very basic vest. It fits well and the Velcro works well and ensures itâs adjustable.

This cooling-vest is something Iâm so happy to have purchased. It has done a great job of keeping my dog cool during walks and hikes, and maintained being damp and cool even after 2 hours outdoors. He doesnât pant as hard or often while wearing this, and after coming home his body is cool to the touch where he was covered.I purchased a size large for my black lab mix, and he isnât bothered by wearing it either (unlike other things heâs to wear like winter or rain coats).
