Finally a coat that fits my Frenchton
My dog is a Frenchton which is half Frenchie & half Boston Terrier. I finally found a coat that fits her large chest & short body. For first fitting the zipper seems to work ok with no issues. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because this is advertised as a cotton inner lining & it is NOT cotton, it is synthetic material.2nd time wearing it the zipper is cheap & comes apart at the bottom where zipper has zero pull on it.

Like it but the zipper broke in 3 months
I bought two of these Dog Coats, one in December and the other in January. I really liked how they fit my dachshund shaped dog but the zipper broke on both coats. One in three months and the other in four months.

Harness buckle heavy
I ordered a similar jacket for my mini dachshund that he quickly outgrew. So I ordered this one thinking it would be the same. It is similar, warm and zips up the back making it fairly easy to get on him. BUT, the built in harness is too big for the coat and the buckle and O rings are metal so they are heavy and clank around while he’s walking without the leash in the yard. I took in the straps on the harness (sewed them shorter) and it is still too big for him. I worry about the weight of that buckle on his back as dachshunds are prone to back injuries. So sad, I wanted this to fit well like the smaller one.

Broke on the first use
The product felt and looked nice. It fit my 40 lb Aussie well based on the measurements online (2XL). Unfortunately, the buckle snapped off the harness portion of the jacket during our first time using it on a walk, so itâs not usable anymore. Iâll have to throw it away, so it was a waste of money. Iâm really disappointed in the quality of the materials, I wanted to love this jacket!
