Better than expected and my boys seem to love it
I have 2 small boys who do not like car rides, they tend to get car sick and anxious. I have tried other more basic car seats and they do the job but this car seat surprised me. For reference, I have a Rat Terrier and a Yorkie Pom mix who are both 10lbs each.It looks like it might be a bit flimsy but it definitely is not. The construction is very well done, the material is soft and supportive and the seat keeps its form very well.It is large enough for both of the boys to lay down and have some space between them. The leads for the dogs are thick and easy to adjust. The strap that goes around the headrest of the seat is also very sturdy and the loops for the seat belt are strong and secure. The very first ride with this seat was amazing, both of my boys laid down and seemed very relaxed which I have never seen before in the car so I am very happy and would recommend to anyone with little ones that aren’t thrilled with car rides.

Worked wonders for my anxiety-ridden rescue dog
My rescue pup has had a tough time in cars since I got her. She usually wants on my lap while I’m driving and then shakes while we ride to wherever we are going.Since I got this seat and harnessed her in maybe twice, she has changed to a completely different dog on car rides. It’s like the seat helped her get used to the feel of being in a car, but from a secured seat where she felt more stable. She rarely tries to climb in my lap anymore, and I think she actually enjoys being in the car now. Great purchase. Happy to recommend to anyone.

Hard to stretch seatbelt under the car seat, otherwise nice!
Bought this on sale for $39 I think, so good price. Maybe it’s because i have arthritis, but i find it a bit hard setting it up. There are two slots on either side of the bottom of the seat, same side as loop that goes over the seat obviously, but you have to pull a lot of slack on the seat belt and then force it through both slots and then lock in the seatbelt . I seem to be the only person who has a problem! LOL. Most reviews say how easy it is.I wish the door side slot had been higher on the back of the seat, so you could pull the seat belt through at a diagonal. It takes this old lady five minutes to get it set up and almost as long to take off. (I’ll add photos later!)My 11 pound cairn mini poodle mix is extremely energetic. The two straps are adjustable, but even at their smallest size, she finds a way to loop herself up — and hit the car lock buttons and open and close the windows — now I lock the windows on my side. I find that clipping just one strap to her collar helps her not to get tangled as much. The seat is a tad flimsy in that if she leans against a side it will give way to her weight rather than keep its square shape. If she were a nice calm dog, it would be heaven. But she’s not. (When I adopted her from the pound I was told she was “an older dog with heart trouble.” Great, I thought, I’m disabled. Turns out she’s three with no heart problem — she used to pace her cage so much, and hyperventilate to the point she’d almost pass out. She’s fine now, just a whirling dervish.) I’d wanted a senior dog, but it’s too late now because I love this one.I think this bed overall was a great deal and well worth it.Will add photos soon.

I have a larger size Yorkie. He is about 9 pounds. There is more than sufficient room for him to lay down and get comfy. He really likes it.
