Fit
Works ok, I fit an extra small. They are for a very very small animal.

Easy of putting it on
Too many straps. Would prefer a slip on.

Doesnât fit right and no support.
The way itâs made doesnât allow it to fit right. Kept turning. Doesnât have any support.

Too difficult to get on
Difficult to put on, once on, too easily removed by dog.

Provides Minimal Support, Adequate for Mild Stability Issues
This brace provides minimal additional support, though it does slightly discourage horizontal slippage of the knee joint. We were trying it out for a more severe issue than itâs intended for, but for mild instability from arthritis or after ACL/CCL surgery, it might be of some use. That said, claims that it offers significant “support and stabilization” or helps maintain “body balance and stability” are a bit generous.Putting the brace on isn’t as easy as you might think. However, once itâs properly secured and tightened, it stays in place. Just be cautious about not over-tightening since your dog canât exactly tell you when it’s too tight. As for comfort, the neoprene material seems reasonably comfortable, though it does get warm and sweaty with extended wear. Our dog wasnât thrilled about wearing it initially, but got used to it over time, though it’s hard to gauge how comfortable he actually was after it warmed up.The construction is decent, nothing special but not bad for the price. If your vet specifically recommends this type of brace, it’s a well-made, inexpensive option. Otherwise, Iâd recommend looking for something with more robust support and rigid components.

A Learning Curve
Both my dog and I had to try this out a few times before we figured out an effective way to get it on and keep it on. My dog learned how important it is for her to hold still long enough for me to stretch the straps out enough to make for a tight, secure fit. Once on, it did a decent job at supporting the back leg, and providing some stability. It is important to read the instructions about this, and not leave on for extended periods of time. This works well for short term, when my elderly dog has accidentally overdone it, and needs a little relief.

Helping my pit
These are better than expected, my pit really wants me to put them on and she’s walking and running a lot more, and seems happier:)
