It took a minute for the dog to come around.
I got this because my dog has breath from hell sometimes and it was difficult to endure. I had to have the wife hold the dog while I sprayed this in his mouth and brushed his teeth. I made a wonderful difference and tamed that breath right away. I have since used it prophylactically in order to avoid the bad breath and it seems to work pretty good. The review asks me about the flavor and I gave it 5 stars because the dog didn’t mind it and neither one of got bit. The scent is fresh. I recommend it.

My dog hates it
I have a small dog, small dogs are not known to be great chewers, and have bad teeth. But he wonât allow me to spray this in his mouth, and he absolutely hates it, so I am unable to use it.

Not Sure it’s Working
Obviously, my dog isn’t happy when I lift his gums to spray this………don’t think he minds the flavor, but does take a big gulp of water afterward. I was using the baking soda product recommended by vets but it is expensive……then I switched to Arm & Hammer since it is basically baking soda and cheaper…….but don’t think this works as well as the products you buy from pet companies. After a while, several months, with those products, I was starting to see a difference at least in his breath…….but with this I think his breath is almost worse. My guy is elderly and I hesitate to have his teeth cleaned, but think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and do so before I spend just as much money on these products. And who knows what I’m spraying in his mouth…..? Then I will be sure his teeth and mouth are clean and fresh…….and healthier.

My dog doesn’t hate it
The spray bottle works well. It’s not finicky nor hard to press down. My dog doesn’t act displeased by the taste when I use it on her. She doesn’t try to get away from it, but she doesn’t willingly open her mouth for it either. I haven’t encountered any issues with the product.

Of course they want to get in your face or just pant.I have one set of senior pups that their breath is awful and they were booked to come this week and saw this and ordered it for them. Following instructions I went to spray their teeth after they ate a meal.What a battle. They clamped their mouth shut and kept pulling away. It is just me so I say it may take two to administer the spray. One to hold and try to get their teeth showing and the other person spraying or pulling lips up to spray. I ended up spraying around the mouth and some may have gotten in their mouth. It seems I can tell a difference.
