For my cat
My cat had a pillow with a regular cover. When she would have a hairball I had to wash the whole pillow. This cover solves the problem. It is soft and durable.

Well sewn, feels robust
My dog is unreasonably fond of pillows and comforters as a bed, going so far as to ignore a nice dog bed to steal a throw from the sofa to sleep on instead. So I got this to try stuffing with some pillows. Success! The cover is nicely robust so it will help protect the pillows, and my dog seems to find it meets his preferences for pillow-sleeping. I used a thin blanket (like a quilted bedspread) to wrap around the pillows before I stuffed them in the cover, just to hold the pillows together a bit better inside the cover.My dog is 110lb and likes to paw at his bed and so far this is holding up well to Important Bed Making Digging.
