Suggestion: Mix with coconut oil
The good part is that it really did improve my dogs breath after about four or five days and it did reduce the amount of tartar on her teeth.I wouldâve liked to be able to continue using it. What I did not care for this product because it is very gritty and requires too much of a portion and it contains mushrooms. I donât know what about it that disagreed with my dogâs system, so for that reason, I had to quit using it because it made her back end sore and have tremors. In all fairness, I tried another brand which did not have mushrooms afterwards and noticed that it was not so gritty. It did not fall to the bottom of the bowl and it did not require so much of a portion and it did not contain mushrooms, but my dog had the same symptoms. So itâs just my dog that apparently canât handle this type of product.

Overall, the product worked as said, however it smells terrible after feeding her dinner and sprinkling the powder on. I literally have to give her a different dental chew to help her breath. I also cannot leave her food dish out because it stinks so bad from the powder.That being said it did work

This worked immediately. I wasnât sure it was going to beat my attempts at brushing my pups teeth but holy moly has this taken me by surprise. My dog is 13 and within the first week I noticed a dramatic change. The plaque on the back molars were almost completely gone. He even likes to tug on his toys again which before I knew it hurt his teeth/gums. I donât use it everyday either. My dog has a sensitive belly so I started off with one scoop split in the am and pm every few days. Iâm now just using it every other week. Obviously every pupper is different. My little furry love bug is 120lbs and a black mouth cur mastiff mix and he just ate it up! Smells like a greens powder mix. Highly recommend.

Dog won’t eat it
No idea if this stuff works because my dog won’t go near it. He backs away from his bowl if I try to sneak in even a sprinkle. To be fair, it does smell disgusting, but I know my dog typically has no problem sticking his nose in gross places, so I’m guessing it tastes as bad as it smells.

Breath Buster!
I have only been giving this to my dogs for a couple of weeks, so I can’t yet say for sure how effective it is for plaque/tartar buildup, BUT…it really does help neutralize their breath, so for that alone it is worth it!I have large dogs, so I was giving them 2 scoops per day per the instructions on the label, but that gave them loose poop (not diarrhea, but very soft and gooey), so i cut them down to 1 scoop per day, and the poop returned to normal texture (but not as much breath control). I then tried to give them 2 scoops again, and their poop became very soft/loose again, so I started giving them about 1.5 scoops per day, and that seems to be the magic number to not upset their systems, but to combat the breath.My dogs didn’t have any issue with me mixing this with their food, and even lick their bowls clean. Overall this seems to be a quality product and I plan to keep using this for my dogs.
