Helps with my dogs itching.
I really like this shampoo. The smell while using is a little strong but not after it dries. Works well. Very good value. Will buy again. It didnât dry her skin or make her flaky. Good price for the size of bottle

Groomer recommended.
We took in a stray from the local animal shelter, who needed grooming badly. The groomer recommended Pramoxine for his itching and it worked wonderfully. He cleans up beautifully and no more scratching. It leaves his hair shiny. His vet also thought it was a good plan. Recommend it highly.

It works!
We have a 3-year old Ruby Cavalier, with her long winter coat. We live in a part of Alaska where the winters are long and the air is often desert dry. The dog was suffering from dry skin, and we were dealing with tangles. After some research, we tried Davis shampoo and crème rinse. The results were immediate and quite good. Our Cavalier has lots of fine short hair, that we had been removing by the bunch when grooming her. During her first bath using this product and the crème rinse, most of the fine hair came out in the bath. Grooming was vastly easier too. Her coat was soft and slick and the matting nearly ended. She still gets some matting but daily grooming keeps ahead of the problem.A friends 5-year Cavalier had many of the same itching/scratching problems, only less matting/tangles because our friend keeps her dog trimmed fairly close. But the scratching and gnawing at her legs was even worse than ours. On our recommendation, she tried the Davis products and had similarly remarkable results. The bottom line is, we highly recommend the Davis Anti-itch shampoo and crème rinse. Did I mention the dogs coat is irresistibly soft to touch?

The best for my allergic doxie
My doxie is 8yrs old, has had allergies for years. Yeast buildup , crusty fur, hot spots, bald patches, skin redness. He received allergy shots each month but they only helped to an extent. Tried expensive vet shampoo and every shampoo I could read about and buy, still nothing. Finally found Davis shampoos and within a month I saw the change. 2 baths a week and his coat is full, no more itching or odors, missing fur or hot spots. After using it for 6 months, my doxie is back to normal and looking beautiful. Donât give up hope. Worked for me may work for you.

Good shampoo for my itchy pet.
My cat was itching so badly I had to put an ecollar on him to keep him from scratching his face up. I bathed him one time with this shampoo and he stopped itching and I didn’t have to put the ecollar back on him. This is some good stuff, highly recommend.

Perfect so far
Great scent but not overwhelming, makes our dog’s coat very soft and shiny after a bath. Recommend

Works!
My dog has environmental allergies as well as flea allergy, so no matter what we do there is always something that sets her off. I’ve tried so many different things, most don’t work, some help a little. Don’t even know why I decided to try ONE more thing lol. But I’m so glad I did! Gave her a good lathering and let it stay on 10 minutes, then did the cream rinse. My dogs itching was not totally gone but it was decreased by a good 90%, only the occasional scratch here and there. After she got dry she climbed in her bed and slept like a rock for a couple of hours, completely restful, no itching to wake her. I now bathe her every one to two weeks and we’re keeping the itch at bay!

Our dog has sensitive skin and is prone to fungal rashes. tried many different products and this one is a winner. good lather and frangrance is not excessive. reduced post wash redness. Be attentive to rinsing well after wash. happy with product. good luck with your pup.

I think he’s just got dry winter skin itch, hard to tell because he doesn’t talk much. This seems to work. It’s got a weird stink though.

My dog has been struggling with licking paws and hot spots on her legs since she was a little pupIt was so discouraging. Tried everything changing foods to limited ingredients and non stop creams and antibiotics. Decided to give this a try. Not overly soapy and easy rince. I didn’t notice any scent if any its very very lightWaiting to see if this helps her a bit. Seems encouraging with all these positive reviews.
