Great for Dachshunds!
I have been through 2-3 other jackets, ordering then having to return them because they didn’t fit correctly on my mini dachshund. This coat was my final attempt, & I couldn’t be more pleased! It covers her entire back! The belly band velcro design is perfect for easily putting it on my dog, as well as taking it off. She walks perfect in it! I highly recommend this jacket for any short legged, long backed dog! The harness hole was a great selling point as well. It is priced reasonably as the jacket is very well made. We plan to get a second for my other sausage dog! Machine washable & very comfortable for her!

I rarely review products, but I need to rave about this dachshund coat. Everything about the coat is perfect. The sizing chart worked. The coat covers all exposed areas, but also lets him do his business. I love the drawstring collar. It is super easy to put on and take off. The zipper opening for a harness and leash works perfectly. The reflective material on the front and sides is a nice addition. In addition to keeping my dog warm, it is waterproof for rainy days. Definitely a well-designed and well-manufactured product for a weiner dog!

Nice looking and good fit
Nice jacket for our long-haired miniature dachshund. For a dog that doesn’t like wearing clothing, she doesn’t fight this easy – to put on and take off – jacket. Ended up buying an Extra Small size for our “tween size” Daisy Girl. She measures 14″ (long neck to tail) and weighs 11 lbs.

I have a Cavalier King Charles. I ended up sending it back simply because I didn’t check the measurements ahead of time. The coat went beyond his back and was hitting his tail. Basically it was too long. I could cuff the bottom up, but then it looked like a weird skirt on him. Don’t want that. Appeared nice and warm. I’ll admit I didn’t care for the color. It wasn’t opaque blue but had some depth – hard to describe. Not sparkles but not a solid navy like I wanted. I didn’t deduct any stars because it was no fault of the coat I returned it. Nice coat just not for us.

Our favorite!
I really love this jacket! Itâs waterproof, long enough, and easy to get on and off. Only downside is the front fabric comes too low for him to run so I just have to fold it up and sometimes it falls down but mostly stays folded. He looks adorable in it and I think itâs well worth the money!

Good fit for Dachshund, but not for really short legs.
I bought size M for pup. My dog is a standard dachshund weights 20pd, chest circumference 18.5 in, and back lenght 18 in. After trying many coats this one finally fits his big chest. I got M (the biggest Mini size ) eventhough he is a standard weenie and it fits OK. I will return it because it does not keep his chest warm and it sometimes touches the ground when he waddles. Made of good materials and sewn well. For Doxies with longer legs it will maybe fit better if you dont mind that there is no chest cover.

Really warm! Covers face and back! Nice and warm on the chest area too! Bought for a pup that is half mini and half full size and the medium fits him perfect! He is about 20 lbs. He has no problem making a pee pee. Nothing gets on the coat or the support strap. He is so happy in his coat and it’s Manitoba so we get cold!
