Gentle, and not too foamy
This is a great shampoo for my hedgie. It’s gentle, and has a nice subtle scent. I’ve only used it once, but it left my prickly baby fresh and clean. I like that the ingredients include oils that promote a shiny and healthy coat. The quality is very good for its price. I would definitely recommend this shampoo.

Excellent shampoo for Guinea pigs
I write this review with a touch of sadness. We began buying this shampoo when one of our Guinea pigs was no longer able to keep herself clean because of her age and health condition. The shampoo was mild and effective, and it provided her comfort in the later stages of her life. We would put her in a large bowl of warm water. She would hang onto the edge with her paws so that her head and shoulders were out of the water. We put shampoo in the water and washed her hind quarters. This felt good to her. She would make a purring type of noise indicating that she was comfortable. We went through a couple of bottles. We are grateful that this product made our piggie feel better.

I have a pet rat at home named Rocky Road. He was getting a bit dirty, so I figured I’d look around online for some animal shampoo that is safe for rats. I found this one and it works great! He was a little scared of the water but the soap definitely did not hurt him or affect him negatively at all. He smells nice and clean now!

We rescued 3 guinea pigs that were living in horrid conditions. They were filthy and stunk of cigarettes. They also had lice. (Vet confirmed) We bathed them all in this and what a huge difference! The had shiny, fluffy coats once dry and seemed much happier. It was very gentle on their already itchy/irritated skin and it didn’t have any smell to it. Our one girl was even purring during her scrub down, so it must have felt great!

My piggies hate baths, so they hated being there, but they are so much cleaner and don’t smell like dirty guinea pigs anymore! Mine weren’t sensitive to the ingredients and it made my curly haired fluffy guinea pig even fluffier and more adorable when she naps!
