Awesome armor to cool down anyone working outdoors in this heat wave!
These gets results! They really work. If you work as a driver, in construction, landscaping, or are outdoors for any length of time in the heat this should be part of your arsenal to combat the heat. Be sure to stay hydrated and don this as armor!I needed something to help to keep me cool on those long hot days and didn’t like the idea of having to rely on a battery or electricity or ice to keep me cool if at all possible, so I looked high and low and found this! This is an awesome idea that works in the same way your body naturally cools you with your own sweat, using evaporation.All you have to do is get this wet, wring it out and put it on and you are good to go! The material hangs onto the water and as it evaporates it cools you off. To “recharge” it there is no need to put it in a freezer or add ice or plug it in or change a battery.. all you have to do is get it wet again and it will continue to work for hours! Amazing, right?It is a great value, works simply and conveniently and takes up zero space so you can always keep one with you. When it dries it will become stiff so be sure to fold it how you want to store it before it dries. It is easy to clean and can be used over and over and over again. I love how practical this is. I think this would be a great item to have one of in your home, car, etc.My friend is a preppier and he thought these were so awesome. They really reduce and simplify all the fans and gadgets and there is no need to have a bunch accessories like a charging cords tc. which I just love! Lif tis chaotic enough so if I can simplify it and find something that works well and keeps me cool and comfortable so I can focus on my work I am a very satisfied happy camper!Please be aware that these work best for me personally in a dry heat. They are made of PVA material and they use evaporation to cool. Evaporation is severely limited in very high humidity!!!

Must have for working outside in the S Texas summer heat
Believe the listing picture that shows the decrease in your body temperature when using this cooling vest. It is 100% true and enables me to work in the yard in the South Texas summer heat and humidity.This doesnât need ice packs or soaking in water, just saturate it, lightly wring it out and put the vest on. Get to work and when the vest dries, resaturate, wring lightly and put it back on to keep working.Towels in this material are for sale all over, but this is a vest so Iâm not continually trying to adjust it or keep it in place.Absolutely the top of the list – best additions to our DIY toolkit!

It does work
This cooling vest works at keeping my cooling while working outdoors. It works just like neck cooling towels. While it’s wet, it helps draw the heat from your body and evaporate it away. Now it does reach environmental temps rather quickly and drys up esp if out in the sun. I prefer to dunk it into a cooler of cold water to maximize the cooling effect and I wear this under my uv ocking shirts to help keep it wet longer as well.I just wish this had adjustable side straps. It obviously is made as a decent 1 size fits most but making the side straps adjustable would have elevated this cooling vest and made this fit much more comfortable and closer to thw body to allow more heat transfer.

This Tore When I Was Trying To Open It Up
Maybe I shouldâve gotten it wet straight out of the package before trying to open it up. I was just going to look at it and it tore. I canât say that this is durable. I take leaving a low review very seriously, but this is wasted money if it tears right out of the package.Just so you know, this review is from an impartial opinion.
