My big guy is my service dog, a male rottie puching 200 Lbs! But this one would be great for his playmate, a female rottie around 100 Lbs!So I did manage to snag an even bigger/heavier duty one for my big guy…. it’s this one if you’re interested….. FIOCCO Elevated Dog Bed – Dog Cot with Chew Proof Mesh for X-Large Dogs, Waterproof Washable Raised Dog Bed, Portable Dog Bed for Outdoor Use, Dog Cots Beds, Black.You’ll notice the one for my big guy has 2 middle supports instead of 1 like this bed has. This one is more than heavy duty enough for my gal though.You may be wondering why I had to wait to set this up… because they each have to have their own and once I show them which is theirs they won’t go onto the other one. It’s no diff than their kennels, they each know which is theirs and they never go into the other one.I’m always hot, so I keep my house cooler all year round. And the dogs like it too LOL. I wanted the raised beds for them more for just comfort than the cooling, I just hate them having to lay on the hard floor. These raised beds will give them both some much needed comfort, and they deserve it! The framing/material seems good and strong and should last, and these will not be exposed to the weather outside either.So you do have to put this thing together, it’s not rocket science. I like the little fan but probably won’t use it on the bed as my gal is not known for being gentle with things LOL. Knowing her, she’ll think it’s chew toy! LOL. I’m sure I’ll find a use for it somewhere though. The only thing she can have for toys/chews is kongs or the big huge nylabones, anything else is history in about 5 min! Portable dog bed for yard, camping etc.
I ordered this for my 2 puppies and one adult dog to share which is why I selected the largest bed. It was pretty easy to assemble together, there is a leaflet with a diagram to help you. There are rubber stoppers at the bottom of the legs along with 2 small rubber round pieces on the middle bar (which is only on the XL bed). The material feels very tough and similar to another dog bed that I have so I have every confidence this will last. On one side of the frame you have to join it with Velcro, which I do have to say is quite hard to get the material to stretch but I managed it and I think it will hold up. I do want to point out that the stitching in the corners look a little rough (I posted a couple of pictures to show this) this is the reason why I am giving this a 4 star rating and not a 5. The fan has 4 different speeds and there is even a light on it which has 4 different light strengths and it must be noted that it is rechargeable so you do get the USB lead included in this package. This fan is a bonus and my dogs seem to like it. If they tire with the fan I will probably use it myself. I like the fact that there is a specified place to clip this to the bed, there is a small gap on one side to accommodate the fan. You also get a draw string bag which enables you to take it on trips, the bed is very easy to dismantle. My dogs love this bed and so do I, I now don’t have to worry about them laying on cold tile and know this will be good for them in the long run health wise. I highly recommend this bed and believe it to be at a very reasonable price.

Just what the doggie ordered
The raised bed I had gotten years ago for my dog to use in the yard had finally met it’s end. My dog has grass allergies so he really does need a bed to lay outdoors on to avoid unnecessary itching. He is an old fella, though, and while he does love to bask in the sun, he doesn’t stay out there very long at a time.When I saw this bed available through the Vine program, I knew it was just what I needed to replace the “has been” bed. I thoroughly checked the size to make sure it was as large as the other one because he was always quite comfortable on that size. When I received the package and opened it up, I realized it came with a fan that I hadn’t even originally noticed as coming with the bed. What a great idea. I bet it is great to help keep pups cool if they like to stay out in the heat very long. Since my dog typically is out fewer than 10 minutes at a time it really isn’t necessary for him. It is also tough for me to take out there and place it and turn it on and off for him when he goes out because I am disabled. The fan is very nice, though, and a handy little accessory to have around the house. It is battery powered and comes with a cord for recharging. The fan has 4 speeds as well as an internal light that has adjustable brightness settings. It is a clamp-on model that is small but powerful for its size and would likely be great for use in a tent when camping.The bed was easy to assemble and I like that it comes in a lighter gray color to keep it from holding extra heat to get my dog overheated. My dog went right to it when it was pointed out to him and I look forward to him using it for as long as he is with me.This is a nice bedding package with the fan, but that extra perk does come with a price. There are similar beds available for less without the luxury of the fan to help keep your pup cool while using the bed. I would recommend this if you would like to provide your dog some extra relief from the heat while he or she rests. It’s a nice bed with a great little fan to help pamper your fur baby with.
