First one of these that I’ve tried
This is exactly as it looks: light weight, stretchy, fits well, good Velcro. I’ve never tried a ‘security vest’ before, but fireworks seem to be having more impact on my 8 yo, rescue Boston Terrier mix in recent years. I ordered this and received it 2-3 days before July 4. When the fireworks started in the evening and she started shaking, I put this on and saw a difference immediately. Her tail was no longer between her legs and she wasn’t glued to my side inside the house. She slept in it 2-3 nights but I took it off every day in the morning and she was happy to have it off. I guess it’s like a winter hat – nice to put on, but a little itchy when it comes off. She didn’t hesitate letting me put it back on at night, though. With the night noises gone now, I’m not using it, but I’m glad I have it for New Years and the next 4th. Money well spent!

Is a TAD tight donât get me wrongâ¦. But anything bigger would definitely NOT fit her. Sheâs a lil 8 lb little nothing haha my lil maltipoo princess. So itâs a lil difficult to find anxiety sweaters that actually fit her perfectly because she is so lil and it requires of course a snug fit. So this def works, could be a lil better (ie. maybe a lil LESS snugâ¦) as she does start pulling on it and want it off after a couple hours. But itâs not meant to wear for long term anyways, so I guess it works the exact way itâs supposed to lol no rips or tears on it yet and Iâve had it over a year!

I bought this item for my little dog. At the first sound of rain she begins to shake almost like she has the shivers. This ‘Thunder Shirt’ caused her to feel more secure during a storm & she actually stopped her shiver routine! Then one day….I washed it! Apparently the dryer shrunk it alot, even for a tiny dog. I did not see anywhere any kind of warning, that you couldn’t put it in the dryer, I would have gotten a larger size from the start! So now, it looks like I am going to buy the next size up, like I should have done in the first place.Other than this size issue, it works really well! I know it is supposed to fit snug, thats the whole concept! But this was extremely tight after the dryer debacle. So, if you plan on washing it, get the next size up.

Works as it should to swaddle but it’s too long for a Yorkie. My dog ended up urinating on it each time he wore it.

My dog is a mini/15 pounds. She has horrible anxiety so I thought I would try this product.The material is a nice color, soft, texture is nice.The shirt seemed made well, except the collar is just a very extremely thin piece of material that goes around the neck and connects to the shirt. (I worried that would be a problem right away but tried it anyway)The sizing chart is correct. It fit her perfectly.I DID notice that she got still and quiet when I put it on. I tried to ease her into wearing it for longer times, as she has horrible anxiety, even to wearing the product. I extended the time that she wore it each day so that by the end of nearly two weeks, she could wear it while I ran errands.I did not leave her unattended with this on because I was afraid she might tear it off. I didn’t want her to hurt herself, so a family member stayed with her. It was not even an hour and she had chewed it off. She got the very thin collar and ripped it in half. (they sent a replacement, obviously knowing this is an issue)For maybe a teacup pup this might be okay for but not any pup with any real weight to it.If they re-did the collar with wider material that might work, but as it is, it does not for my furbaby.I would not recommend this to anyone with dogs bigger than maybe 5 pounds.If you do buy it, never leave an anxious dog alone with this product on, they could seriously hurt themselves.

Our dog has severe anxiety and hates most type of clothing but this one calms her instantly. We have been using it daily for the last 2 weeks now and will continue to do so. She is 18 pounds and from the measurements chart, we got a size small which works perfectly. Make sure to measure it right and give it a try.

We bought because our dog got anxious on drives in the car and would vomit as a result. After buying this the vomiting has decreased and she seems a lot calmer

A few things – CONS : 1. The fabric is very thin, not sure it would work as a thunder jacket. 2. the colour description Rose is very pink (based on pic I though it was red). PRO: arrived quickly.
