So far, so good
It is shocking that our 12 week old kitten already gets stinky breath so I got this to see if it helps with that issue as well as help avoid dental decay in the future. We just started using it so I canât say whether or not, it is effective yet, however, the kitten doesnât seem to mind the taste of the spray as much as he minds the actual brushing of the teeth. I am hopeful this will help control, bad breath and itâs also really helpful in getting the kitten used to being handled for grooming.According to the directions, this can be used either by directly, spraying it into the mouth of your cat or spraying it onto a toothbrush to then brush your catâs teeth. Iâve chosen the toothbrush option because I think that will be a lot more effective and not just work as a bad breath control

Seems to work, but almost impossible to administer
I’m really torn on this product. It seems to work very well when I can actually get some in my cat’s mouth. But that’s the trick: how do you get it in there? I think a spray bottle is probably the worst option to apply it. I use my thumb and forefinger on either side of his mouth to get it open, and then I spray with my other hand. The problem is that he doesn’t like his mouth being forced open, so he moves his head around to get me to stop, making his mouth a moving target. I end up accidentally spraying it in his eyes half the time, which of course traumatizes him. He now runs and hides when he sees me get the bottle out. I don’t blame him â I wouldn’t want mouthwash sprayed in my face either!I think a much better option would have been a dropper. I could easily get a few drops in before he starts moving his head. A dropper would be much more precise in the place it comes out. A spray just goes everywhere! His face, his eyes, his chest. The diameter of the spray is a few inches, while a dropper would only be 1/8″ or less. Much easier to control where it goes… much easier to avoid traumatizing your cat!Now that being said, I have managed to get some of the spray into his mouth a few times, and I have to say that it does work very well. His foul tuna breath is drastically reduced! I’m sure with regular applications, it would disappear completely. I just can’t get it into his mouth on a regular basis. So that’s how I’ve come to my rating: 5 stars for a product that seems to work really well, 1 star for the applicator. Average those together for a 3-star rating.

We have several cats with an inherited mouth issue
The mother cat had to have lots of dental work and several of her daughters have the same issue. About half of our cat colony has dental issues (mostly all the girl cats) as their mother had.If you’ve ever tried to brush a cat’s teeth for them be sure to wear protective clothing and secure the cat to avoid wounds. Our cats rarely act up with Veterinarian care but teeth brushing may change that claim. We’re going to discuss this treatment with our vet first. Something needs to be done.

Visibly Cleaner Teeth
This easy spray smells lightly minty and after only a few uses there is a clearly discernible difference in the cat’s teeth, which are smoother and shinier. I knew that silver is antimicrobial, but not that it made such a surprisingly effective dental treatment. Absolutely excellent results as a dentifrice, if you can get the cat to sit still for that. Even just using the spray gives good results. Such an innovative product.

Cat breath freshener
My two older cats are beginning to show signs of plaque buildup – have you ever tried to brush a cat’s teeth?! Anyway, along with the plaque comes the beginning of some bad breath. These drops do seem to help with the bad breath if used as directed over time. My only issue is getting the drops into my cats. My two older ones fight me every time! However much they fight me over the drops, I can only imgaine they wouldn’t ingest them any other way.

The ingredients seem safe. So far, so good.
I had to look it up first. According to my research, “Colloidal silver is a natural, safe, and effective antibiotic for cats.” The other ingredients seem to be natural supplements. My cat has bad breath, and I worry about what that may mean about bad bacteria and the potential for infection or disease. So, I got this product applied as part of my cat’s new teeth-cleaning regime. She offered some resistance, as I expected she would with anything related to her mouth. But she’s already come back out to grab a bite to eat after hiding for only a couple of minutes. I guess she trusts that I’m taking care of her and isn’t traumatized by the new spray.I can’t say whether this helps with her breath. However, I hope that applying this spray will reduce her chance of infection or disease. If there is anything new to report at any time, I will definitely update this review. So far it’s a win.I hope this helps.
