Easy to set and good heat range
Used for feral cats in the winter. I tried an electric blanket last year and it didn’t last. I had this over a month and ordered another before the temps dropped.I did cover the controller w a plastic bag and elastic to help keep out the moisture. I also try to tuck the electronic part under their bed to help with the components in hope it lasts.I waterproofed their huts w plastic bags and for the deep freeze I then added an extra blanket. As temps dropped I increased the heat to 6 for my cold cats and the alpha cat I left his on 4 or 5 as he is extra thick.Hope it holds up and most of the winter it will be set on 2 or 3 as in Texas it normally isn’t below freezing often.

Don’t waste your money!
I just received this. Pro – The cover and size of this pad are nice. Con – The heating control and connector seem flimsy and cheap. The pad is “warming” up on the counter before I put it in my outside cat’s house. It’s been “warming” up for over an hour on the highest setting and it’s barely warm. If you put your hand inside the cover on top of the supposed heater then it feels a little warm but not enough to help my cat in the cold. I would say it’s a .05 out of the 6 temperature settings. Also, it does not have a “stay on” feature so you will have to turn it on and off every 24 hrs if you’re looking for one that is continuously “on”. Guess I overlooked that. Overall – This is a waste of money. It doesn’t heat worth beans. I will be returning it! I think I am going to buy a human heating pad and wrap it in a pillowcase or something soft since none of the heating pads on Amazon have great warming reviews.

I bought two of these. One is great the other was opened and obviously returned before. It does not heat up like the other either. Heat is low in both would work ok for kittens not dogs..

Dogs Loving it
My dogs love my electric blanket but they take up so much of my twin bed no room for me. My dogs are small. Put this in their crate and now they are sleeping in it again. They need this in this freezing weather and we are all comfortable again. Yes would definitely buy again. Nice and fluffy . Love the timer and settings. Can keep it at a comfortable temp all night just like my settings on my blanket but safer then using a people electric blanket.

My dog loves this heating pad. He is that boy 4, but has issues with torn CCLâs. We have used the heating pad for therapeutic purposes and it brings a lot of comfort to our dog. I works but another one.

Don’t waste your money
Packing it up to return it now. On the highest setting, only one very small area the size of a dollar bill gets a tiny bit warm no matter how long it is on. It simply does not work. I would give it ZERO stars if that were possible.
