Healthy versatile treats
We bought these treats as a low fat alternative to pill pockets for our aging dog. She is on several pill medications and a low fat diet. These are large enough and soft enough to reshape and hide pills in and she will always eat them. Best of all they don’t make her throw up. They can also be broken into smaller pieces for training treats. Our cat even likes them!

Great treats for chihuahuas
These treats are excellent even for tiny breeds because they are very soft and you can pull off tiny pieces to use for training. I taught my 2 chihuahua puppies to sit in less than 5 minutes using small bits of these treats. They love them.

Fresh at last, fresh at last.
I’ve used Lean Treats for years, but this is the first time I ordered the large breed version. And for the first time in two years, the treats are fresh and soft. I can break them into three pieces and smush one around my dog’s thyroid pill, then toss all three to her one at a time. This time, I only ordered three packets. That’s because the last two 10-pack orders of the original Lean Treats contained packet after packet of dry, crumbly pieces. The expiration dates were years away, but the return dates had passed long ago.I finally figured out that I could use those dry treats if I dumped a packet into a bowl between two wet paper towels and popped them into the microwave for 30 seconds. The nuked treats were extremely soft but smaller, so it took two pieces instead of one to make three treat-size balls. But at least I could use them. If you’re stuck with stale Lean Treats, I highly recommend this softening trick.I’ve searched, but I never found anything better to hide pills in than Lean Treats. So it was a great relief to open a big-breed packet and find soft, fresh pieces. I took a risk and it paid off, but I will never again order large quantities of Lean Treats.

My vet uses these
I bought these because my dogs love them and only got them at the vet. Now they get them at home too.

Healthy treats for pets
My dogs vet has these in his office and my dog LOVES them. He always looks for them when he goes to their office so I had to get him some. I order them through Amazon at a little cheaper price than at my vetâs office. Fast and easy shipping.

Low fat
My dog loves these treats. Looking for low fat treats for him and these fit the bill. Heâs very picky when it comes to treats but gobbles these up plus they are low fat. Would recommend.
