Best shampoo for the cost for itchy, sensitive skin
We’ve tried many different shampoos for our sensitive-skinned dog and this one works the best. It’s not a sudsy shampoo but cleans the fur and skin easily and rinses really well. I highly recommend this shampoo as it was recommended to me by a co-worker.

Recommended by our rescue staff
We adopted a new dog from the local rescue. She had terrible matting and dirt when found. Her skin is still recovering. This is the shampoo they recommended to calm the itching and help her have healthy skin again. It really seems to help. She itches less after just one bath. This will be our go to shampoo for now on. I also used it recently on our foster dog. He also enjoyed the soothing formula and smells better.A good product.

Pet shampoo
I got this for my dog because he was always scratching and digging at his skin. He did calm down on his scratching and it smells ok but it seems to make his coat a little oily. Not bad but a little. I would use it again

Excited to try this
I currently use this brand for both my dogs and their coat is pretty and the dandruff is gone on the one with a problem. I am delighted to try this one with itch relief and aloe vera on the one who has allergies. If it works as well as the calming formula for the itching, we will both be happy. I have no doubts regarding the brand. It was received very timely and the price was great.

It really works
We just added a dog to the family and immediately noticed that she was scratching and nibbling. So bad that it kept us up at night. When I found this on Amazon I decided to give it a try and Iâm so glad I did. We put her in the tub and bathed her with this shampoo. As others have mentioned, we didnât get a lot of suds, but we worked it into her very short hair. The difference in her behavior was like night and day. She was able to sleep peacefully and most of the scratching and nibbling stopped. There had been small scabs on her skin and the hair was gone in patches. The last time I checked the scabs were gone and the skin was smooth. Iâm sure we will see the hair growing back soon. I have tried many other anti-itch shampoos in the past without good results but this is the real deal.Now for the spray. For some reason when I tried to review that it brought me back to the shampoo. The spray works great for instant relief, but only when I can catch the dog. She is terrified of the spray and wonât let me near her when she sees it in my hand. To remedy that, if I see her nibbling I soak a soft cloth with the spray and wipe her down. She lets me do that and the nibbling stops. I think both of them together will at leasts slow down the itch and make her more comfortable.

Seems to help the itch, no smell and poor lather
This shampoo does not lather much at all. That probably makes it rinse better and helps with the anti-itch, but means you will go through a lot more if you are trying to wash a medium to long haired dog. There is almost no scent at all, again probably helps with the anti-itch but since it says honesuckle I expected it to have some scent. It did leave the fur soft and seems to have helped a little with my husky’s recent bout of itchy skin.

This was wonderful
My little teacup yorkie had a sudden start of itchy skin.I knew he did not have any fleas or bugs…I tried everything. He was unhappy and constant itching his back.I bought other oatmeal dog shampoos, no help. Bought several ointments, no help.He is very very sensitive to any kind of prescriptions, so medication was out of the question.I felt horrible since I could not help as he had hoped.I bought this shampoo, as I use Burts Bees products on myself, figured I could give it a try.It came fast delivery. I liked that it did not have much smell at all.I immediately gave him a bath with it. He stopped itching that night.I wanted to wait to see if it came back….Well, it has been 3 days and he stopped, not an itch at all.I am so pleased.If you have a doubt, a poor itchy pet, just give it a try. Worked for my little pal.

It’s scent free
Burt’s Bees for Pets with Honeysuckle – Anti-Itch Dog Shampoo for Dogs is everything I hoped for in a grooming product. I search “best dog shampoo”. Burt’s Bees brand was noted as the best. This shampoo leaves my Bella’s coat silky soft. I kind of wish it had a scent. If it did it would probably be a clean smell without being like the other shampoos that smell overpoweringly like a doggy beauty parlor. However, no scent is good.

This product is amazing. I have a morkie puppy and she is highly sensitive to so many shampoo products and this is the only one I can use that doesnât cause her to have constant itching and it smells amazing and it works wonderful.

The shampoo has a watery consistency and is rather hard to get the foam going. It did not soothe my dog’s itchy skin and instead made his skin drier. A normal moisturising shampoo worked better at making my dog less itchy. If this works for your dog, the price is rather reasonable.

Really good dog shampoo on the lower price end. Worked well for my short-haired beagle âPennyâ. However, not good enough for my long-haired golden retriever âPippaâ. The lather doesnât penetrate down to the skin no matter how much product I used. (Half the bottle gone after one bath) lol. Iâve had to switch to a higher end product.
