Amazing product!!!!
We have a big sweet tabby with a really thick undercoat that produces a LOT of dander. It also made her coat a bit greasy feeling. One week after we started using the Burt’s Bees Spray and we have a different cat! Her coat color is darker now that the thick undercoat has been brushed out, no visible dander and grease-free. You can pet her and you don’t come away covered in fuzz, grease & dander – her coat is just soft and lovely! She is even more playful now that the discomfort has been eliminated. I didn’t realize the extent of the impact this condition made on her! Highly recommend this product. To avoid startling her with the sound of the spray bottle, we apply it to the brush. Pleasant smell, too!

Great For DOGS TOO!
Like many other customers stated, this product is awesome! Works well, gentle on the skin, very very mild & clean scent (almost smells like nothing at all), makes his coat soft, and does what it says itâll do!! I spray it liberally on his coat and then use a gentle brush to spread it through his coat down to his skin. I looked for reviews from anyone who tried to use it on a dog because burts apparently doesnât make a version of this specifically for dogs, but couldnât find a review on here from someone who used it on a dog⦠so here it is!I bought this and the corresponding dander wipes almost 2 weeks ago to try on my Doberman that I recently rescued who has a vey short coat but lots of dandruff – even after nearly a month on skin/hair supplements and ketoconazole medicated shampoo baths & oatmeal conditioner. I have also treated him for worms twice in the past month since having him (hopefully they are gone now!), and learned the dandruff/dander can also be a result of the worms too. Also in the process of removing grains from his diet to help as well. With all that being said, while I try to pinpoint the true underlying issue behind the dandruff and dander, this product is the ONLY thing that has made an immediate visible difference, no harsh chemicals, and he LOVES being brushed so itâs not an issue at all for me to easily spray him as much as I need to. Iâve previously tried a few other brands of the dog wipes which didnât do much at all, if anything. Brushing him without this product just brings more of the dander and dandruff to the surface of his coat as it releases⦠which also doesnât really solve the problem. Once I brush him after spraying this product, virtually all of the visible dander is off of his coat – and then I finish with a quick wipe down with the corresponding burts cat dander wipes. They are very large and saturated enough to where I usually only need to use one wipe⦠for a full grown Doberman!I am very satisfied and glad I tried this product, and hopefully this review helps other dog owners looking for a dander/dandruff solution as well 😉 will definitely be buying again and will use routinely on him when he gets brushed daily. If nothing else, the oatmeal and aloe in this product are great for keeping the overall skin and coat healthy!

The aloe in this product is safe, and it works on dandruff
This is excerpted from goodhousepet.com:âAloe vera leaf contains two plant materials: a green goo (proto gel) and a white sap latex substance (latex). Aloe latex is what makes aloe vera toxic for cats to consume. It contains saponins that cause abdominal pain and other toxic effects. [My comment: So, it is important to keep your cats from eating or chewing on a plant.]According to the ASPCA, aloe gel will not harm your cat. First, aloe is safe to apply to your catâs skin. Second, aloe gel is made without the plant substance that is toxic to ingest. Thus, the gel is both safe to apply and safe to consume.Aloe wipes are safe for the same reason aloe gels are safe. They are also made without the plant latex so they are non-toxic to cats. Aloe wipes are useful for helping to groom your cat, eliminating odor without a bath, and soothing skin irritation all at once.âI have used it on my recently adopted cat, a “grand lady of a certain age” who had a rough life before and the dandruff to show for it. It has worked well, although I feel like wipes may be more effective in removing flakes when they appear, so I have started applying the spray to a used, dry wipe or wiping in the liquid with a soft cloth. The liquid is a much better value than buying disposable wipes.

If my cat could speak, she’d say, “Thanks Mom!!!”
This stuff REALLY works, and got rid of my older cat’s bad dander problem. Burt’s Bees for Pet Dander Reducing Spray arrived with the rest of my Amazon order this early afternoon, and I was more excited to test this out, then I was getting a refill of my favorite foundation. However there was one caveat, at least with our cat: I learned early on that our 18-year old feline was not crazy about me spraying this directly on her. Now, mind you, I kept it far away from her face and eyes, but concentrated strictly on her back to her tail, where the dander is present. Once I sprayed a mist of it, I began to brush her coat thoroughly. The directions state to spray from the back of the cat’s ears all the way to her tail, but I have never seen dander by the back of her ears or head. And after a thorough brushing (I have a soft silicone brush that I use on her and she loves it) I can honestly say that the amount of dander decreased significantly. Later this evening I began to repeat the steps, but she was not happy with the spray hitting her fur directly, so I thought, why not spray it on either the silicone brush or on one of the Pet Grooming-Deshedding Gloves (bought them here on Amazon), and then use that to brush it into her fur directly (her back area and to the tip of her tail) with long strokes, and then use it to brush it thoroughly. Which I did, and she was very comfortable with this method.Guess what?? Those big-gross dander flakes are all but gone! Okay, I’d say about 98-99%, and that’s impressive. I think between the Colloidal Oat Flour & Aloe Vera (and it also has Glycerin and honey), it is strong enough, but gentle enough to work.Again, this WAS NOT used on her face, throat, belly, or legs. And I have no intention of using this on her on a daily basis. And if the dander does not come back, then it was money well spent. And if it does, then perhaps another treatment is in order, but down the road.

Started to spray on our cat but not fussed. So sprayed it on grooming comb, he was in seventh heaven and couldn’t stop purring. He was acting the same as with catnip. Have brushed him once weekly and his fur is so soft, tangle free and very smooth and glossy. It is expensive but well worth the cost. Exceptional product.

Bought this to treat my rescue cat who is long haired and gets matted within 24 hours of being brushed. Only used it twice so far and the difference is amazing, the large matts have gone and any small ones brush out so much easier. Her coat is softer and all in all I have a much happier cat, which is an ideal result. Thank you so much for this product, happy to recommend to anyone and everyone.

This stuff is brilliant! Our old cat has been getting really bad dander and his coat was looking scruffy. After using about 5 times, it has improved enormously.
