This is a very handy item
Got the 10 ft model for my mini Aussie and it is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Light weight and adjustable. Would not recommend for a large pulling dog.

Great for sitting on the porch
Works perfect for what I needed. I have a 75 lbs lab and it works great when I want to sit on the front porch with him and have the extra benefit of making sure he behaves. It works well and I like that I can adjust the size for his big head and also not over choke him.

Nice quick option for a small dog
I use a body harness and “regular” leash that I walk my dog with. He, for some reason, likes to go sun in the front yard. I had him out there one day laying in the yard when the UPS driver drove up and my dog ran at him growling and barking. I felt bad though the driver said he was fine; my dog only barked and growled but still not cool. He’s just 18lbs. So I bought this thing for quickly putting around his neck. He mostly just lays down in the sun with it but a few times he wants to go for a full walk and this works just fine. Seems sturdy and I can steer him as needed. I’ve used it many times for a few months with nothing breaking.

Serious design flaws
The main issue with this product is 2 fold.The first is the width of the rope. Unlike the slip leash we have for walking which is very thick this rope is about a third of the size. This makes the leash more dangerous since having a thin rope pulled against our pupâs throat is worse than a thick one. I know it says in the description how wide it is but I think most people would assume itâs the width of standard slip leashes.The second issue is the metal âbuckleâ which aims to prevent the first problem of choking. It lasted a whole 2 play sessions. The small metal bar in the middle of the buckle broke and the entire buckle fell off into the yard. We found the buckle by pure chance. If we hadnât it would have been dangerous for our puppy if he had found it and chew/ate it.We are going to keep it since it was the only long slip leash we found but we have to be extra careful with it. 2 stars because it was in concept what we wanted but our expectations and quality was far from met/desirable.

Other reviewers said this would happen, should have listened. The anti-choke buckle broke even though the leash itself is almost brand new, but have just passed the return window. The leash is no longer safe to use.
