Keeps puppy, myself, and vehicle safer
I have a 25 lb puppy that I take everywhere with me. She always wants to sit in my lap while I drive and/or try to sit on my shoulders… I’ve never seen another dog try to wrap its body around one’s shoulders like a scarf and as funny as it is, it’s really dangerous. I paid $10 for a red Blueberry car seat strap for the dog and it works perfectly in my 2018 Honda Civic. I click it in the back seat and have it adjusted so she can reach both windows, but not the front and she still has plenty of room. I attach it to her with a padded harness for extra protection. No worrying about her jumping out of the window, being thrown out through the windshield in an accident, changing gears, or distracting me. I think it’s a great product. I’ll buy Blueberry again for sure, the color is really vibrant.

It can shorten or lengthen depending on the size of the dog. Easily to change it up. Locks into the seat belt and releases easy. I used this on my 60 lb dog and he was able to move around but still be secure. When I open the car door no more jumping out!

I ordered the short seat belt buckle for my dachshund. He can still walk around the entire back seat and over to the driver’s side if he’s buckled in the passenger side. Thankfully he isn’t very interested in moving around but he loves to stare out the window and this allows him to do so while staying buckled in. Not too convinced it would keep him safe or even in the seat in a collision, but that’s because of his size and not the buckle.
