Okay, but not what I need.
I was looking for a very short leash/knotted rope as a train tool. This one is just fair with my Aussie Shepherd. This girl is about 50lbs. The leash is a loop of 1/2″ flat nylon woven strap. Easy to catch, but a bit too long as my girl can also catch it and chewed through the strap in about five minutes after it was snapped to her collar. Once the strap was no longer a loop, the frayed end dragged on the ground and she figured out how to put a foot on the end of the strap and use her other front paw to open the snap and pop the whole thing off. The snap is not easy to gt it on but easy for the dog to remove it. Going to use a locking snap and attach a six inch rope with a single knot at the end. No loop and hopefully no problems.

Working on off-leash commands if you have to grab it really fast, it’s not uncomfortable or scratchy to grab, which is nice compared to some of the others. It’s the perfect length for me and my dog
