Customers say
Customers find the socks attractive and functional. They grip floors well, preventing slipping and keeping their dogs’ feet warm. The socks stay on their pets’ feet securely, with no snags or unraveling. The velcro strap provides good paw protection. However, some customers dislike that the socks don’t stay on their pets’ legs. There are mixed opinions on the fit and durability of the socks.

Great fit for my 25lb Sheltie
My girl had an interdigital cyst on her foot, and it wouldn’t go away because she wouldn’t stop licking! This worked out great, it covered the cyst and didn’t seem to bother her at all.We also put them on her when she went outside in the rain, and it helped stop muddy feet print.

Good quality, hard to put on
I loved that this looked like real socks, and thought they would be easy to put on, however due to the shape of the dog’s paw (mini schnauzer) wasn’t so easy after all, I have to squeeze the nails together so they don’t get stuck in the sock. But once they are on it seems they fit comfortably well, my baby doesn’t complain and they stay in place, unlike other ones that come off easily. Maybe I needed a larger size to avoid the issue with the nails. They are sturdy and good quality, and the bottom has protection for the hot pavement, that living in the desert is a plus.

Adorable and well made
I had to return them though because they didn’t fit my tiny 5 lb poodle.PS if your dog is licking, check the paws yourself or vet. Dogs lick if they’re in pain. My other dog kept licking her paw and i found a broken nail. She likes to “scratch” before she circles and lays down. Sometimes she scratches the sofa too hard.

Size up
Size up. Smaller than expected so couldn’t get a bandaged foot inside one on my 20lb bichon. Also wears fairly quickly. Toenails poked through. But.. they did serve the purpose protecting injured law pad. Stretches well, stays on.

Detachable velcro strap is a must for me
There are many dog socks on Amazon and at first I was overwhelmed going through reviews. I finally realized that most all of these dog socks are the same and what was I specifically looking for? I decided on this brand since the color I wanted matched her fur. Silly decision but I also liked how the velcro strap can be taken off while you wash them (there are others that are that way too but I stuck with this one due to the color of the socks). My dog is a very good patient and when her allergies act up, she bears through what I need to do to help her. The velcro straps are stretchy and so I feel that helps not strapping them too tight around the leg. The grips on the sock help some but I still see her slip from time to time. My main concern was her not being able to lick her paws and these socks prevent her from doing that. She doesn’t try to pull them off but there is no guarantee yours won’t pull them off but if they are in the habit of doing that, you may want to strap tighter or forgo these (and all other socks). The only small complaint I have are how the socks fit on the back legs. As per other reviews, I also recommend the maker make a second strap available as to give more support of not slipping down the leg. If I strap the back legs just right, then they don’t seem to come off as easily but I would prefer a second strap so I’m not strapping them too tight. If you are struggling to pick socks for your dog, keep these things in mind: How many socks do you need? Is detachable straps something you would prefer? Is color part of your selection? Otherwise, all the socks that look similar to this one are the mostly the same.

Probably not safe for French Bulldogs
Our Frenchie has been having traction problems on wood floors, so we decided to try these out. We ordered S/M, which was too small to stay up over the back of his ankle, so we went up to M, which fit with a little room. The Velcro strap helped keep them on but they kept sliding down and flopping at the ends. The Velcro strap kept them from coming off completely. We kept adjusting, thinking heâd need to get used to them. After several hours, we took them off and noticed one of his back paws was nearly 3x its normal size and very red and inflamed. Poor guy, he never complains about pain, but it looks very painful. Itâs been about an hour since we took them off at the time of this video, and the swelling has decreased by half, so you can imagine how bad it was before I decided to take a video of it. I donât think this is a bad product, but I donât think itâs designed for French Bulldog legs and feet. Be careful and watchful.

Could not get them on
My dog would not tolerate me attempting to get them on. They snag on her paws.

Fit mini dachshund
To protect her paws when itâs cold and muddy on walks, (so I donât have to wash her paws every time), and when salt is on sidewalk. I only put on 2x and Iâm still trying to get the front ones on good. Learning the skill to dress her in these and she is learning to wear them. They fit but a little struggle to get front paws in and secure good so that they donât come off, if they slip she doesnât walk good. I stretch them open with 2 fingers to get her paw inside.
