Surprisingly this product has helped A LOT with my senior GSD tartar build up, mainly on his canines. I wish I would have taken a before picture. He also likes the taste of the toothpaste which makes brushing easier.

Great product and easy to use!
While most reviewers stated this had a bad smell to it, I didn’t notice this at all. I ordered the banana mint flavor and it smelled just fine. My dogs were actually excited for me to use this and let me brush their teeth without any issues. The toothbrush has a small brush and larger one on either side of brush which made it super great to reach those back teeth. I also liked that it came with a small brush case to keep the brush clean when not in use. I ordered 3 for my 3 dogs and I am so glad I did!

My dog liked the taste of this one and that made it easier to try and brush his teeth. I used the finger brush. There was no way my dog would tolerate the long handled brush

I Love Arm & Hammer!
I ordered this Arm & Hammer Tarter Control Dental Training Kit for my sweet little pupparoo and am so glad I did because it’s fantastic and works great! I was pleasantly surprised because I didn’t realize when I ordered it that it also comes with a soft finger brush! This wicked sweet kit literally comes with everything you need to get started brushing your dog’s teeth and I’m super impressed! The packaging is totally on point and it’s a piece of cake to use too. I started off by letting my pupp taste the toothpaste. Then the next day I let her sniff the finger brush and proceeded to gently brush her teeth with the finger brush for a few days. Then the next week I got her started on the toothbrush and she likes it all now, lol. Overall I give this product two great big thumbs way up and would definitely recommend it!

Use as a puppy
I tried using this on my 2 year old dog, but she gave me a hard time because she’s not used to it. The presentation and taste of the toothpaste was doable though.

Banana mint smells good for me, but not for dog & this DOES NOT make teeth white again.
This toothpaste smells a heck of a lot better than the previous beef one I had. Unfortunately, my dog begs to differ. She runs as soon as she sees the toothpaste!Pros: I like that this combo comes with the dual toothbrush, but I got one that was missing a bristle. See photo. I can tell a difference in dog breath when I don’t brush her teeth, but that is the case when using any dog toothpaste.Cons:You see that amazing picture on the product of the dog’s teeth going from stained brownish yellow to white, under the “GET RESULTS YOU CAN SEE”? Ummm, that is NOT HAPPENING whatsoever. I brush my dog’s teeth every single day, getting to all teeth, and every crevice, but her teeth are still the same yellow teeth as before. Hey, but at least her breath doesn’t stink!Hope my review helps!

The bad reviews are ALL for the Beef flavor!
I have overwhelming anxiety and was suspicious of my pug having teeth problems, she just turned 8. I studied and looked into brushing and such and was surprised to find a trusted brand like Arm & Hammer had a product!I saw the thousands of reviews and thought it could only be good! However, afterwards I got concerned about a certain chemical “Triclosan” being in it and was scared. Just looked at the reviews, sorted by 1 stars, and the bad reviews are OVERWHELMINGLY for the beef flavor.I can say that in “banana mint”, my pug enjoyed it before brushing her teeth and enjoyed licking it first, and getting her teeth scrubbed with it! Day 3, she still enjoys it and allows me to brush her teeth and her breath has improved drastically! I looked at the contents on the back of my tube, and this harmful chemical “Triclosan” is not in the banana mint version. She has a sensitive stomach sometimes too, so much so that we use probiotics, but she enjoys having her teeth brushed with this flavor, and there’s no smell at all (at least to me), and my pug enjoys licking it off her teeth after the brushing. I’m very very happy with this product!If I had to buy one again, I would absolutely not by the beef one. That one turned me off anyway, because i’m trying to fix bad breath, why would I want beef flavored toothpaste? That seems counter-intuitive.

I bought this to use on our new Golden Retriever. The flavor (banana mint) seems odd but sheâs ok with it. I will probably try a chicken flavor next.

I love using this product and my dog actually dog enjoy the taste of the toothpaste (Banana Mint). Small dogs especially are prone to gum and teeth issues as they age so keeping up with her dental hygiene is very important to me :)-Please brush your dogs teeth, itâll help you with stank dog breath and dental health in the long run

Our vet recommended we try a toothpaste on a toothbrush with our puppy and he really enjoys his teeth being brushed. He loves the taste and canât wait for more. Having the longer brush helps to avoid nips the way you have it with a finger brush where you get bit more. Definitely recommended!
