Our dog gets one of these after he lets us brush his teeth. He’s an older dog and needs dental care. These treat help and simplify control his bad breath.

The dogs love the mints but the last 2 orders, the mints have arrived in broken pieces and without a lid on the container. It’s difficult to give the dog a mint when it’s in small pieces.

Something changed for the better
I’ve been buying these for awhile now and normally these are all broken and you end up giving your dog bits and pieces. This time though, when I opened the boxes up, I was surprised to see they were all in tact! My Chihuahua loves these (whole or broken) and they really do help keep his teeth clean and smelling good. I am very pleased this time to see finally someone realized there was a problem with broken treats and perhaps it’s been corrected? Anyway, I still recommend these and like that they do help my Chihuahua.

WAY WAY overpriced
Look at the ingredients! Why are these priced as they are?Also there is NO reason to package these in a metal tin. That tin probably costs 20x as much to make as the dog mints in it. (at least)The mints themselves are ok, but they do contain RED#40, YELLOW#5, BLUE#1 Why put in such bad artificial coloring for DOGS!!!???? they dont care about the color!Remove the colorings! Get rid of the costly tin package! Put 5x the amount in a bag/box for the price!That will get you 5 stars.

My dog really likes these treats and they do make her breath much better. (Her breath was so bad it made everyone feel ill. I tried water additives and then she wouldnât drink water. I took her to the vet and had her teeth cleaned – expensive and only lasted a couple days. These actually work and she thinks they are a treat) Problem solved!

Iâve used these dental mints for my dogâs for many years. The mints are small bone shapes and their size is very deceptive for the good effect it has on reducing bad breath. I have a large Labrador and give him 6 in any one day which is ample to take away that doggy breath. Canât rate the flavour as I donât eat them but my dog scoffs them without any issues.Iâve found these mints are getting harder to find in stores or online so was delighted to see that Amazon appears to still keep them stocked.

My dog just swallow the mints like a candy, they are tiny and many broken pieces, really don’t think it helps in reducing tartar/plaque
