Product worked on first day – but now dog won’ drink it
My 2-year old, 55 lb lab drank the entire bowl at once on the first day I used this. And I was very impressed that his white teeth were back. He has just gone through a lengthy surgery to remove 80% of his small intestine. He’s back home and doing very well but due to losing 15 lbs he must be extremely hungry or low on proper vitamins/nutrients as I caught him eating his poop! He’d never done that before & I quickly trained him not to do that again. But his breath was horrendous. I have brushed his teeth every day since he was a puppy but during his medical issues/recovery, he could not tolerate it. And alarmingly fast, his teeth looked dull and stained along with his breath issues. This product cleaned and neutralized his breath issues on day one. But he only drank the water for one day. Now he sniffs the water and backs away. So I’ve tried moving the timing of giving him the water to after his 6pm feeding – but he still won’t go near the water. I continue to put out a fresh bowl of water daily with this product but he still won’t drink it. Any suggestions?

Works great , inexpensive and no plastic bottles to dispose of
First what I really like about this is no more plastic bottles to dispose of that really is a great feeling. Second it works really great I do not use it as per the instructions instead I put 3 packets in a 20 once water bottle and add it to their drinking bowl as needed. I have been using this for a few months now and their breath and teeth are clean and do not smell.

Ark Naturals Plaque Zapper is a great product!
I am so happy to have discovered this product. I have a cat who won’t drink out of a water bowl, so I mix a packet of Plaque Zapper into his wet food several times a week and add a little extra water, then I wait until it has stopped fizzing before I give it to him. It is tasteless and odorless, so he never notices it and eats the food right up. My other two cats drink from a bowl with no problem, and they never seem to notice it either. All their teeth are nice and clean. If you have ever tried and failed to brush a cat’s teeth, then you will appreciate this product as much as I do, NO stress involved for either pets or people!

My dog won’t drink the water
This product says odorless, colorless and tasteless. Not true, it leaves the water filmy and maybe has an odor or flavor because my dog won’t drink the water at all. It’s been two days and I give up. This product can’t be returned to Amazon so I’ll have to just throw it away. Bummer.

It caused my female to get continued UTI
I liked that it worked on my older male poodle. My female got 2 UTIs. One was pretty bad. She stopped eating and playing. Couldn’t control herself so we had continuous accidents. The worst oart was I knew she was in pain. A vet visit fixed her, but will not purchase again. I had ordered twice, no more.

Awesome dental product for dogs!
This product is awesome for fighting plaque on my dogs teeth. It’s so easy to use. I have a one gallon pet water dispenser. I add 7 packets to the gallon of water. Then my dogs teeth get plaque treatment every time they get a drink! The Veterinarianary clinic that cleans my dogs teeth said using this product has made a noticeable difference decreasing plaque. I highly recommend this plaque zapper!

With five chihuahuas, it is expensive to get their dental cleanings all at once (our vet doesn’t do group discounts, lol). One was cleaned last February, two in May. We have two more to go as they still have tartar on their teeth and their breath smells like dead possum.I first purchased the product in March or April and am pretty pleased overall. The product works best when you start off with clean gums and teeth. The three who were cleaned do not have stinky breath anymore. I am supplementing their regular food with Hills Prescription Diet Dental Care t/d (two giant kibbles per meal) and the combination is keeping their teeth and gums healthy. I have one who will not touch the t/d kibble, but the product is working for her on it’s own.The other two had seriously bad breath, but with the product and addition of dental kibble, their breath is smelling a wee bit better. They still need to get in for a cleaning, though.

I use this product, but not as the instructions say. I put dog toothpaste on their brush and then dip the brush into this powder and brush their teeth. It works GREAT to keep their teeth clean and their breath fresh and it doesn’t take long to do. You can also just put in water as the instructions say, but that is the lazy way, as it bypasses their gum-line and is not as effective. Also, they don’t really like the bubbles it makes in their water.
