Great food for the senior pups!
I use this food for my senior pups and they love it! They are thriving and their skin/coat and overall health is in great shape! While this food is a little more pricey then others, I would much rather spend more on dog food and less on veterinary bills! This company is amazing and they only make their own dog food and nothing else! This company is unlike big corporate dog food companies! They actually care about where their ingredients are sourced from!

My two Great Pyrenees eat anything, so like most dog foods, my initial thoughts on taste are about the same. They love kibble and will wolf down whatever I give them. I tried this with a 1:4 ratio with their regular food and it was a winner for the flavor for them. They didn’t hesitate at all to eat this with their regular mix and try to get in the bag to get some of this as a treat on it’s own.I have larger livestock dogs and it’s important that they get a high protein formula. This comes in really high at 33%, and it also has less allergen inducing ingredients in it. They seem to dig a lot less with this and Purina, especially the higher protein and sensitive stomach varieties. There’s no wheat, corn, or soy in this and it tops the charts with the 33% protein.My two big kids have enjoyed the formulation and I haven’t seen as much digging. Their scaling has gone down drastically, and they haven’t had as messy of potty trips when they go. This formula seems relatively similar to some pancreatitis formulations I’ve tried in the past, and overall seems to have good ingredients that my big boy and girl eat. Of course, it isn’t saying much about flavor with these two, but it has said something about energy and coat quality. They seem as perky as ever working and going into winter. The price is a bit high on this though, even for a high protein formula. There are some added ingredient boosters like coconut oil and turmeric, but I don’t know if the quantity is really helpful.I hope this helps making a choice a little easier. It seems easy to digest, the dogs like the smell and taste, and their coats and hotspots seem a lot better. They’re fairly hyped up, and seem to be filling out nice for the winter without getting too rotund. Their coats are in, and they’ve had less mess when they make.

We have been feeding our 13 yr. old Re-Juvenate for several years but recently received a bag with what appeared to be moldy kibble.It made our dog sick so we stopped feeding her this food.I reached out to Annamaet but no response.

While I appreciate Annamaet’s commitment to sustainability with the use of Bio-Flex materials that biodegrade in landfills, it was a bit difficult to open. But hey, a small inconvenience for the greater good of the environment.Overall, I highly recommend the Annamaet Grain-Free Re-Juvenate Senior Formula Dry Dog Food to any pet parent with a senior dog.
