I conducted some online research and found someone who had used this herb in combination with two other herbs for their Shih Tzu
We have a 10-year oldish poodle/schnauzer mix who recently developed symptoms of canine dementia. He would hide in inappropriate or far away areas of the house (in the laundry room, behind the furnace, under beds, behind the toilet, etc.). When let outside, he’d stand in the corner of the yard even as you called him, confused as to what to do, not responding to commands even when I tried bribing him with a treat (extremely unlike him as he is highly food motivated). He lost much of his personality traits and exhibited signs of anxiety as well. It was heartbreaking. Working for my dog, he loves it!
I have been giving this to my yorkie/maltese for over 2 years now. He has CHF. I believe this is one of the things that keeps him going. He was given 6 months when diagnosed. Its been 3 years now. We put it on a spoon and he licks it right up like a treat. Twice a day. IMO its better than a prescription blood pressure med. Too many meds can have a toll on the kidneys. Just let your vet know what you are using. Both of my vets have had no issues with us using this and other tictures to naturally help our dog.

My dog has congestive heart failure and a murmur he is only 4yrs old. He goes to OSU veterinary hospital to see a cardiologist.After changing his diet to Farmina ancestral grain dog food and using these drops he is recovering. My dog got heart failure from grain free dog food-grain helps dogs absorb taurine an amino acid essential for heart health. Gmo grain dog food would be counterproductive so please be mindful that new studies are showing grain free isnât best for all dogs and dogs with allergies to grain itâs usually because itâs GMO-My dog had a lingering hack type cough that went away only after taking these drops-he also started to have a better appetite and put on some weight and itâs totally because of these drops. My Miniature Schnauzer was diagnosed with Canine Cognitive Disorder Syndrome (Doggie Dementia) after receiving an MRI. I have tried a few things with him including Science Diet’s BD (Brain Diet) Food, which I saw great improvement with him after switching. He is also on Anapryl & Omeprazole per the Neurologist. After reading about how Hawthorne Oil (which has Ginko Biloba) has been used to help with sleeping and the pacing associated with this disorder, I purchased the Animal Essential Heart Health for my boy. He started it in around September. I just finished the first bottle with him. But last week he had an episode where he became so weak and lethargic he couldn’t get up from a lying down position. He also was running a fever of 103.3. I immediately took him to the vet. They looked him over and said that they could not find anything wrong with him, but to watch his fever and if it went up or didn’t come down on it’s own to call them and they would start him on a general antibiotic. His fever did come down on his own that evening…but then he threw up…and his stomach started gurgling…and he was very gassy…he definitely had some intestinal discomfort going on. I decided that night and that I would discontinue the use of the Animal Essentials Heart Health for a while since his stomach seemed upset. He progressively got better until he was back to himself with in 2 days of stopping this. I continued to withhold it (approximately 5 days) then resumed last night. I woke up to him flailing around unable to get up from a lying down position again. I called my vet and they asked that I read the ingredients off to them. So I did. She was alarmed to know that this item has Garlic in it and that it has been shown to be toxic in dogs. I will not be using this any more as a result of my experience with it. I will say that it did help with his sleeping and pacing, but I am concerned about the toxicity from the garlic in this solution. I feel as though this garlic built up to toxic levels in my dog…although I have no proof other than the clinical signs of toxicity that happen when I resumed the use of this product and alternately the improvement when I stopped. So use with caution. And to the manufacturer, I would try this product again if you would remove all garlic from the solution.

Chihuahua with congestive heart failure
My Chihuahua was diagnosed with congestive heart failure last January 2018 and I have bought everything I could get my hands on that would help her heart because we were hours away from losing our baby! I have been giving her this religiously since being diagnosed with all her other medications, 3 from doctor and the rest I read up on but it’s a bunch and she is doing great!!! I am not a doctor so do what you think best for your fur baby! My vet can’t believe how well she is doing but I will not give all the credit to this Heart Health liquid but the ingredients are all healthy for Emma, my baby! I have bought this at different places during this time.
