Waterproof dog throw
Like the blue color and size I got for my queen bed. Is easy to position and to wash because of the thinness. Hope doesn’t move around too much when dog jumps onto bed. Will use my dog’s light throw on top.

Great blanket but does make (waterproof layer) plastic noise
Blanket looks nice, washes well, seems of good quality. Grey looks nice in our furniture. Some pets (& people) may not like that the waterproof layer does result in a plastic crinkling sound. I have similar ones from Amazon that do not make this soundâ¦but these will likely be more waterproof, so if you have fluid concerns, not just protecting furniture from fur, these may be the better choice.

Nice blanket
This blanket is lightweight and soft. It is comfortable to sit on. Some reviews said that it had holes that would allow water to reach your furniture. It does look like the stitching has holes. However, when I dumped water on the stitching and let it sit, no water leaked through after several minutes. The top layer of the blanket was wet but nothing came through to the bottom layer. It was completely dry. I have already washed and it washes nicely.

We have 2 dogs and these covers trap their fur and wet paws so that the couch isn’t dirty or damaged. Easy to wash in the washing machine and does not shrink or fade.

The fabric is water repellent, so water beads and runs off. But if a puddle is left to sit, or something touches the material, the water will soak in. I expect that water repellent coating will wear off or wash off.The waterproof layer is in the middle between the fabric. You can hear a slight crinkle sound. The water didn’t soak all the way through to the other side, but I only used a tablespoon of water. If there was more water and it was left for a longer time, I’m not sure if it would seep through at the seams.The seams have no thread, I think it’s a heat process that melts and fuses the three layers together. You can see through the seams when you hold it up to the light, so I’m not sure those will be waterproof.The blanket is fairly thin, light does pass through, but it’s thick enough to protect furniture from claws.The fabric is soft, like polyester bedding sheets or a bedspread. But hair sticks to it like crazy. I would prefer the outer layer of fabric to be waterproof, then it would be more resistant to dirt, stains, and hair.The color wasn’t quite as dark as I would have liked.
