i bought this for my dog for her birthday a few weeks ago because she gets really anxious in the car. itâs really helped with her car anxiety, she falls asleep the moment she gets in. i bought a medium for her because she loves moving around to get comfortable. the quality is really good, very cushiony. itâs a good size for the price and can fit two small dogs comfortably. my brothers dog also loves it whenever i take her with me on car rides. has side pockets to carry food, leashes, treats, etc. which i very much appreciate. very easy install and seems very safe and secure. my dog isnât used to being on a harness so going to take some time to getting used to. but 10/10 would recommend!! would recommend if your dog gets scared/anxious in the car, makes them feel more comfortable (:

Comfortable seat with pillows
I selected this design over some others (like the one that has a strap that fits over the seat in front of the seat the car bed is in — too much negative space between seats and no bottom support) and (another one that has high front and low sides which prevents my dog from being able to see me). Although this item has the taller sides and lower front, the back piece does not seem to be very supportive, but I will know more about that after an 8-hour road trip. I selected this item for my 18 pound Dachshund mix. I placed it in my vehicle and my dog loves to lay his head on the side pillows. I want him to be comfortable and have enough room so he can sleep, be able to see me, and I can reach to him if I need. The only thing I do not like about it, is that there is no way to take it apart to wash just the cover. I have washed other beds and the stitching comes loose and the stuffing spills out of the seams. I would like to see this same design in a strong bite-free cool cotton washable material with zippers so the cover can be removed from the packaged stuffing. I love the color – Blue and white stripes as it matches my car seats. After the trip, I will rate this item again and hopefully attach pictures.

perfect for a chinese crested!
I really wanted to leave this review for those who do not have the “pudgy” dogs that weigh 25lbs or so. There seem to be concerns on whether or not longer, slender breeds will fit comfortably so let me tell you now that YES, they most certainly will!My love here is a chinese crested. His measurements are as follows: Length of body – 13 inches long. Length of body with front legs extended – 20 inches long. Around widest part of chest 20 inches. He loves to lie down with his legs put to his side normally or even tucked underneath him but at times with his front legs and head over the edge of his usual dog bed. You can also see that the cushions are very soft on the sides so they easily move over to give additional room if needed if he wanted to extend himself.I did read MANY reviews regarding the safety clip inside so I did buy him a couple of seatbelt safety leashes that clipinto his harness on one end and into the seat belt lock(?) on the other.All in all, I’d have to say that this will keep him happy and comfortable for the 11 hour car ride that we have ahead of us, especially once I put his blanket and Snuggle Puppy (yes, I highly recommend this for ANY dog with anxiety) in there with him.

Broke with light use
I purchased this a few months ago, and it is already broken. The attached buckle is now detached, it just broke right off. I am disappointed due to the cost of this dog car seat. This was a big purchase, and now I am left with a dog bed, not a car seat for my dog. My dog has only been in my car a handful of times and is always sleeping so there really should be no reason for it to have broken. 🙁

My Poppy loves her car seat! The color pink is adorable! It is so comfy and plush, while still having sturdy borders to hold her in. Handy pockets on the sides where I stick her leash, snacks, etc. removable bottom to wash when paws get dirty. Great purchase! Would buy again.

My dog seems to feel very secure!
My dog lays down immediately and puts her head on the bolster. She feels safe and secure. She usually sleeps for the entire ride short or long. Nice fit for a small dog!
