I LOVE this!
I am a small dog (chihuahua and jack russell) and my mom bought this for me hoping I would like it. Boy , oh boy, she did good. I LOVE it! I roll it all around to get the pieces out which I think is fun and she thinks is good exercise. Sometimes I come across it on my wanderings and it is empty when I want to play. So I pick it up and carry it in where she is and drop it on her foot. She laughs and puts some food in it for me. I have her trained pretty well now. This was the best surprise! I hope your mom or dad get one for you, too.

Good for really little dogs, but that’s about it.
I have a Maine Coon cat that acts like a dog and is very playful and food motivated, so I decided I would try this.Disappointing mostly, but it does work as intended.First of all, it’s relatively heavy so they really have to push it to get the food out.Second, it will not take big kibble (which I have to use for my stupid cats who eat-purge-eat, so if I don’t use bigger kibble, they don’t chew it and make themselves sick). And that’s “big kibble for cats,” which for dogs is not actually that big. But I hauled out a bag of smaller kibble I sometimes mix in their big food to actually try it. Anything with a diameter in any direction over about 3/8” won’t fit. That’s more like standard cat food size.Third, it doesn’t make any sounds or anything, because the rattle is muffled by the labyrinth mostly.In using it, they’ll eat the kibble if something else moves the toy and a piece falls out (ooh, random piece of food on the floor) but they don’t connect the food with the toy being the source, but they won’t chase or boop at the toy because it doesn’t seem that interesting to a cat.If you have a small dog that has a mouth small enough that it can’t chew off the end, it might be good.Overall, 3 stars, understanding that if I had a small dog as the pictures show, maybe it’d work, but, would not buy again. I know I was using it for cats, and not dogs, as intended, but even if I had a dog I’d think this was overpriced and kinda boring for what you get. A big dog would just see the toy as a challenge to get the end off, and would just chew off the end.

However, for pups with strong chewing tendencies, I would caution against this particular product.In conclusion, the treat-filled dog toy showed potential for entertainment and engagement, but its short lifespan and vulnerability to chewing were disappointing. I would recommend exploring other more durable options available in the market to ensure both your dog’s enjoyment and safety during playtime.

DOG loves it and you really need sall treats to put in it or else they won’t come out. He happily rolls it and has learnt that if he rolls it against a solid object like cupboard the more treats come out. Its cheap plastic and not sure that will last for long. The ends are sold and hard to do up as thread crosses all the time, takes patience. When its empty he happily carries it in his mouth for us to fill it.
