Lowest slope available, great for older dogs
If you want the easiest steps for an older pup, smaller dog or injured one, I suggest these. Highly sturdy, but it’s key to let them fill out for even up to 48 hrs or longer BEFORE putting on the covers. Foam needs to be given room to open up as much as it’s supposed to first before you stuff it in it’s cases. Otherwise you’ll end up with mushed corners or ends that don’t fit quite right.Top zips to bottom, so secure there. I did research and found these ones are the lowest slopes out there. My 12 yr old, 11lb min pin mix had back issues now. Needed easy slope, but ramps suck. Steps are too steep usually for little guys. Sloping steps are available, but only one other gave it’s angle and this one is a lower angle than that one.Add to that the cover comes with corduroy step slopes with firm plastic inserts, my pup felt right at ease and it’s his level of confidence that matters. We bought two and put both at end of the bed. Regardless of stairs I suggest you do same. Functions better this way no matter what kind you get. The sturdier the better, but it isn’t “needed” especially if you have carpet. These ones are like velcro to carpet.Note these are longer than others due to their gentler slope. Make sure you can have the 45 inches they are from beginning to bed

There are no directions.
You receive a compressed piece of foam rubber and other pieces with no instructions how to put it together. Save yourself the hassle and buy something else.Thank you for your offer of $15 back. I am a 91-yr old woman who finally got this cover on these steps. I got motivated to do so when my Pug puppy started tearing large pieces of foam off the side. It wasn’t easy and I still wouldn’t buy it again.
