Almost perfect for my dog
I have an elderly beagle mix with arthritis and bad discs in his back. We needed a way to get him into our SUV without hurting him. The size large fits his 60 pound body except for the rear leg straps. The are sewed on too high for him to wear comfortably. But the harness allows us to pick him up and put into the car without twisting his body or causing him stress. We simply unhook the straps on his back end for short drives and if we take him on a long one we will take this harness off and use his regular traveling one instead. He might have been able to fit into the XL, but then I think the rear end straps would just fit worse. There are pads on those straps to help ease any irritation, but for the few minutes we need to pick him up they are fine. A big relief knowing we can get him into the car for trips to the vet an he was happy that we could take him to the park again.1 star removed. Well, the second trip using this to only lift our dog in and out of our SUV one of the straps to secure his back end came out of its stitching. Nothing tore, it just slid out. Iâve requested a replacement as it does allow us to transport him without any issues. But considering the rest of the Vest I am surprised by this. I will add to this when I get the replacement item Amazon is sending.Replacement arrived. We use it only as a way to lift him in and out of the car and he is in it for less than a minute. But we can safely lift him and he can ride in the car with us again.

I’m still getting my dog used to it, it is a big help, he looks like a police dog in it. It does allow me to walk him.

Does not fit whole dog
Pictures show covers from inside front legs to in side of back legs. But It was only 11inch long on lower side. See attachment.For large dogs.ThanksAaron Wiggins

Cant pee in it, no crotch cut out, poop ok.
I liked all except he cant go pee without soaking it. Im going to modify + cut out for crotch area to pee to the x web.. poopings fine.. it covers his pecker so i cant leave it on hes a queensland pit.. 80+ lbs.
