Good for dogs and for devices requiring lint-free wipes
Keeping my Golden Retriever, Yoshi, clean and healthy is always a priority, and these large cotton swabs and dry ear wipes have turned out to be a fantastic addition to my routine. I originally got them for two reasons: first, to maintain Yoshiâs floppy ears, which can collect dirt and wax, and second, because theyâre lint-free and double as excellent tools for cleaning the optics of my laser engraver. Talk about multitasking!For Yoshi, the cotton swabs are a perfect size. Their extra-long handles and sturdy construction make them easy to use, even for a big guy like him. The tightly wound cotton doesnât shed, and theyâre gentle enough to avoid irritation while still doing a thorough job. That said, I must emphasizeâthese are not for human ears. Unless youâre trying to clean your brain and your dignity at the same time, itâs best to leave these to the dogs (or laser engravers).The dry ear wipes have been equally impressive. Theyâre soft, lint-free, and super absorbent, which makes them perfect for wiping away wax and dirt from Yoshiâs ears without leaving any moisture behind. Plus, the lint-free quality is an absolute lifesaver for cleaning the delicate lenses on my laser engraver. Just What the Doctor Ordered!
I have a Labrador Retriever, 79-82 lbs, and she suffers ear infections again and again, particularly as she loves to swim and we live near water. I flush her ears regularly as a preventative measure with a solution my veterinarian prescribed. The vet told me to apply the flush using those square cotton pads that are intended for cosmetics applications because that’s better than a cotton ball. Well, the cotton pads in this kit are even better, thinner, have less lint and are less wasteful, in my opinion. They also have a nice texture that grabs the gunk in the ears. I am very pleased with this product. The cotton swab tips are on the large side, though, so I don’t know how they’d work out for a smaller dog. They worked fine for my large lab, but they are too big for my own ears! The kit is substantial for the price. The swabs come in ziploc pouches of 50 each and everything comes inside a nice storage box for protection.

I ordered these for cleaning my airbrush and they’re perfect for that purpose. The swabs are long and stiff and don’t leave behind an over abundance of lint. The pads are lint free and are thick enough to hold a good amount of alcohol for wiping down the needle. That is comes in it’s own case is a bonus!

Note that only one end of the bamboo stick has a swab on it, but it is a good dense and large swab. So, there is little risk of poking your dog while swabbing their ear.The swabs are big enough to wrap around your finger, for a different style of cleaning the dog’s ears.I would recommend using these after a normal dog bath and superficial (shallow) cleaning of the dog’s ears with a washcloth first. That way you get more mileage out of this kit.

Perfect for our dog
Our dog has to have his ears flushed frequently, and when he has an ear infection they have to be done daily. This kit of cotton swabs and cotton ear wipes is exactly what we needed. The swabs are long enough to reach and the pads are soft enough to be comforting when we dry them after. It’s nice to have everything in one kit that is perfectly sized for the supplies. The cotton part of the swab is a bit large for our dog – he has small ear canals. We’re still able to use them to clean up the inside of his ears, just not the canals. Keep this in mind if your dog has small ear canals.It’s a good kit at a reasonable price. I’d buy it again, especially if they had one with different sized swabs.

Great for so many uses!
I noticed these cotton swabs and ear wipes because my dog had an ear infection. Once I saw there size and length and sturdy quality, I realized they have many uses. The swabs can reach hard to areas for cleaning the house, with a 3D printer, or a plethora of beauty needs. They are packaged nicely in a plastic box so once a package of the swabs or cotton pads are opened, they can stay clean. This is a good value and something I didn’t realize I would need until my dog’s ears got infected.

Gentle Cleaning – Owner Tested, Hound Approved
I have a sweet little beagle and as with any dog with long ears, she is bound to run into itchy ears. I wash her ears and these swabs are ideal for cleaning out any debris that is deeper in her ears. They work well and she doesn’t seem to mind having her ears cleaned with these. Of course I squirt a little warm water in her ears to make the process much easier.
