Works great on dog ears
Despite being mostly an indoor dog, my dog seems to catch everything in his floppy ears. If I don’t keep them clean, he tends to get ear infections. I have been using wipes, but they don’t get into all the little crevices in his ears. I just dip these in the ear cleaner and get a TON of dirt and crap out of all the crevices. They hold together very well, I was worried they might fall apart once wet, but they don’t. The cotton is very tightly spun, no loose fuzzies coming off. The length of the stick is nice too, not that I dig in his ear that far, but to dip in the bottle of ear cleaning solution. Also gives you a lot to hang on to. Great quality for a pro or for someone that cleans their dogs ears themselves.

Nice but be careful if you use these on your dog. Have other good uses.
These swabs are really nice. They aren’t as soft as the name brand but they’re bigger and get more gunk out of the poodle’s ears. Just have to be careful because they aren’t pillowy soft on sensitive ears.However, I found these to be really great for cleaning firearms too. Their size gets more spent powder and junk out of the actions and gets deeper in the wells and pockets. The fatter swab lasts a little longer than the small swabs, too.Only negatives are not as soft and a bit pricey. Will consider buying more if they go on sale.

I really wanted to like these swabs….
but the cotton comes loose from the ends when you twirl them. Fortunately I’m using these to clean the ears of a 70lb Retriever the ear is large enough so that i don’t need to twirl them much. The wood stick strength is so,so. I’d think twice about purchasing again..

Effective ear treatment on cats, Great for other applications
This swab made it possible to quickly clean out the inside ear sockets of our two cats. Our two tom cats have a short amount of patience at best, when it comes to our physical inspection and treatment of them. Our tom cats like to go outside, so we monitor them for fleas and other pests. They will not sit still long enough for us to clean out their ears with a regular cotton swab. With these swabs, we can get the job done, before they start reacting very negatively. The swab itself is six inches long and the cotton tip is 1.5 inches long. The cotton tip itself is thicker than the typical cotton swab. I will be ordering more of these swabs as I can easily see using them on a number of cleaning and maintenance applications. They are not marketed or packaged as a sterile product, but I can still see using them for initial cleaning of a wound. (Final cleaning of a wound would of course be with sterile products and solutions.)

Nice thick swabs that have more reach
These are nice swabs when you need the extra reach and they have a nice thick swab on the end as well.

Perfect!
I usually use cleaner pads and regular q-tips to clear any gunk but I never feel like I can get in the ear good. I ordered these and already gave them a try. They are a great size/length. I am still not going too deep as I am not a professional, but I feel like I can get those “itchy” spots that he leans into when I clean his ears and the swap is a good size. I have a lab so these are great. The swab is a little large which I like because then I can’t go too deep, but really has a good surface area to clean and grab debris from the ear. Definitely recommend for ear cleaning!

Long and sturdy!
Not much to say about these ear cleaning swabs. They are exactly what you would expect. They are sturdy and well-made and boy are they long!! Good amount of cotton
There is a good amount of quality cotton on these swabs. They seem to be pretty well made. The longer handle makes them easier to use.
