We needed this immediately after receiving it. Our dog had to be sedated for a procedure, and was still “loopy” when he got home. He needed to go down some stairs to get to the outside to go potty, and we were able to use this under his belly to help him down the stairs. It is important to note that, unless your dog is small, you’ll need to stabilize him front to back, as this can cause him to tilt forward going down stairs (when loopy) – lesson learned in time! Recommend.

This is a great thing to have for older dogs or dogs with hip issues. Makes getting into and out of the car much easier. My dog is over 100 pounds and it works perfectly.

Handles are too short
We have a geriatric husky and the handles are too short for me at 5’4″. I am hunched over when assisting him. Very uncomfortable.
