Came just in time for freezing temperatures for short haired dog. I have a large kennel crate wrapped in a large taped down heavy tarp. This is again wrapped in a king size quilt on all sides except the door opening, including bottom. Inside are two large bed pillows with this heating pad on top of the two bed pillows on low heat. This is on our covered back porch near the back door right beside an electrical outlet. My back yard is fenced in. This stays dry and is warm. I love the stay on feature. I turn the pad off around 10:00 am. She loves this! I canât imagine sleeping snug under a blanket with my short haired pet sleeping cold. Pad is quality and performs.

Great, but just a bit warm for my dog, even on the low setting
I really like that this pad has a removable cover that is washable. It is very soft and comfortable for my dog, but I have to turn it off after not too long, even on the lower setting, since that is just a bit warm for her to lie on for more than a few minutes. I wish that setting were just a bit cooler.

No heat after using 8-10 times on low
I bought this for my elderly boxer who has severe spinal spondylosis and arthritis. It worked briefly and then there was no heat and warmth any more on the level low. High was too hot for him. Now I canât use it and wasted all that m9ney on it and it is beyond return time frame. Is there anyway I can return to manufacturer and exchange for a functional one? Please advise.

Only lasted 5 months
At first, I thought this was a good product. I used it on my pitbulls bed to keep her warm during the winter nights. She is down in the hips and the warmth at night kept her more flexible in the mornings. It seemed to be well made and I liked the two warmth settings as well as the removable/washable cover. I bought this in November 2023 and it stopped working two nights ago. The light on the thermostat still comes on when turned on but no heat anymore. It was never folded and only left on during the night. As with other reviews, I feel this should last much longer than 5 months. I will look for another brand and probably pay more but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

I bought a second one of these for the bed, because my little pup gets chilly.He has one sitting on his big chair that he looks out the window with, and now we share one in bed.Itâs great because it has two different heat settings, neither of which are too hot. I donât feel it is a fire hazard at all, because it is relatively cool to the touch unless there is weight on it.Itâs a really large size, and keeps my pups belly warm along with my back muscles relaxed. Great purchase!

Bought this to go in whelping box. Works well other than never know what temp its at. I keep it on low with a towel on top. Puppies like it when mom leave but don’t stay too long as it seems a little warm even on lowest setting. Works as a temp heat pad while mom takes a break. Would not use as a only heat source.
