Outdoor Heating Pad for Stray Cat
Purchased this outdoor heating pad for an abandoned cat in my neighborhood thatâs too afraid of people to come inside. I bought it to put inside an outdoor small cat house and it fits nicely. It doesnât stay hot all the time, but it warms up when the cat gets on it and he seems to like it. The heating pad has multiple heat and timer settings which is great because you can set it and not worry about it going off in the middle of a freezing night. The fabric is easy to wipe clean if needed. The only thing I donât like is the cord is way too short. Itâd be so much easier if the cord was longer. Make the cord longer and itâll be perfect!

Works great but the cat still prefers my lap
I got this hoping the cat would not want to be in my warm lap so much but NO he still prefers my lap. It wouldn’t be fair if I gave the product any less than 5 stars b/c its very well made, it has lots of choices of settings, easy to clean and he does like it but he still prefers me. It gets warm quickly and works great.

Almost perfect
I am so glad I bought two of these! I cannot believe how nice it is to have a timer and the fantastic temp options with newborn puppies. My only issue is that it is a smidge harder to clean if they poop on it (and they will), but then again it’s waterproof and durable as all hell. The smaller size was perfect for my two puppies. I highly recommend this to other small breed breeders, and small pet owners. I haven’t used anything nicer in 20+ years!

Safe and versatile
I love that it can be programmed to stay on for a certain amount of time or always on. It warms up more with the cat or kitten weight. I use it indoors and outdoors under a roof protected from rain. I found it works best when there’s a layer of cloth, like a baby blanket, under it as well as on top. Keeps my outside “ferals” warm and comfy especially at night with our unusually cold Temps. I purchased 2 to try and liked them so much that I bought a 3rd for my inside foster kittens. I’ve shared the link multiple times with other foster parents in our rescue. Will most likely purchase more in the near future.

Stray cat loves it.
I placed this on my porch for the skittish little stray who slinks up looking for food in the night. Normally he shows himself long enough to wolf down any food on the porch and then he’s gone and won’t be seen again until the next night. Now sometimes I can peek out the window at night and see him curled up on the pad. I set the heat about halfway between the lowest and highest settings when the temps at night get into the 40-50 range.

Arrived not working
I plugged it in initially and it appeared to be working. I went back to check on it later and it was cold. I tried hitting the power button and the lights kind of flickered like the connection was unstable. I could not use any buttons and the power wouldnt stay on, just flicker.I guess the good news is if it breaks it wont burn your house down? However I had to return it.It was in perfect condition visually, so the issue must have been internal with the wiring.

Gets warm quickly
This pet heating mat has an easy to wipe cover and a well protected cord. I don’t think that any cord is chew proof unless it is in metal covering or pvc pipe. It has nine heat settings and a time for 4, 8, 12 and 24 hours. It gets hot quickly! I can only run it on 1-2 or it is too warm even for little heat seeking kittens.

We have a feral cat hanging around. It is so cold here in January in Canada. He has a kitty house in the shed and we bought this mat for extra warmth. We keep the adjustable temperature at 4 or 5 and he loves it.It’s under the bedding so he is not directly on it. Works perfect.

We bought this for our senior cat – he loves it! We leave it on setting #1, as I feel the other settings might be a bit too warm for him. He likes to lay on top of the pad without a blanket. The timer is very handy and works well; I would highly recommend this blanket for your senior pets!
