Horrible
This wet cat food smelt so bad I couldnât even leave the can open in the bowl. My cat wouldnât eat it. I think it had gone bad and my cat will eat darn near any wet food. I have always known Blue Buffalo to have a great reputationâ¦. but not this.

Less moist, more dense than other Blue formulas
Our cats normally eat Blue Freedom Indoor Cat wet food mixed with Blue Tastefuls kibble. When one of our cats recently got sick and wouldn’t eat, we tried this version of wet food hoping it would be similar to their usual wet food but different enough to eat it when sick.Pros:- It’s a Blue product. Like most of their products, they use quality ingredients with minimal fillers.- It has a good ratio of protein, carbs, and fat.- It comes in a variety of flavors.- It’s reasonably priced – more than the cheaper brands, and less than specialized brands.Cons:- It’s very dense. You can tell as soon as you put a fork into it, it’s like a dense cheesecake. The Freedom line is much more moist with a larger water content.- Of our 3 cats, none of them liked it very much. After the 3rd can, none of them wanted more than a few bites of it.This may work for some cats, but it didn’t for mine. They’re back on the Freedom line of wet food and have enjoyed it for many years. If you need a moister wet food, try the Indoor line. If you want it less moist, this line may be better.

Blue Buffalo cat food
My cats only get the best. This food has not caused any problems with my cats health like others have. The size of the can at 3 oz. is perfect size for feeding my 3 cats a supplement to their Blue Buffalo dry food. The price makes this a good value for picky cats.

My cat did not like this food
Iâll start off by saying that my cat and I love Blue Buffalo, they make great food at decent prices and are very consistent. I usually get him the flaked food but I wanted to change it up and get him something a bit âfancier.â Now maybe at this point those of you who are seasoned cat owners and shaking your head at me and saying I made a rookie mistake, which I definitely did.My cat did not like this food. He ate it the first time but he left all the bones pieces in the bowl, which I did not know there were bone pieces so that really freaked me out at first! The next day he wouldnât eat it at all. No way no how, no matter what I tried.I ended up giving the food away to a friend and one of my neighbors whose cats seem much more interested in the food so thatâs good!

my picky cat loves this meaty food and begs far less often to be fed. it sticks with her longer.

Cat Food was rotten
We’ve been feeding Blue Buffalo wet cat food for about 15 years both to our old cat that sadly passed away and to our two new kittens/cats (10 month old brothers) we adopted at 8 weeks of age. We’ve always bought the food through Chewy or at the grocery store. We saw this on Amazon and bought a case of the Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Natural Flaked Wet Cat Food Variety Pack, Tuna, Chicken and Fish & Shrimp Entrées in Gravy 5.5-oz Cans (24 Count – 8 of Each) for $33.86 which we thought was a decent price. The lot numbers on the cans were 20241105u and 20241106u with an expiration date of Nov. 2025. We noticed the grocery store bought cans expired in Nov. and Dec. 2025 leading us to believe that Amazon’s supply chain ref. cat food might be storing the food for a year. The first few times we put the food down the cats didn’t eat it which we thought was odd being they’re chow hounds. One cat finally ate a small portion and vomitted. Obviously, not good! At first we didn’t realize it was the food being bad. Then, a day later we noticed two cans leaking fluid with a horrible smell. We threw out the entire case. We suspect the food might have sat on a hot train, truck or whatever because in all of the years we’ve fed this food we’ve never had a problem. Amazon gave us a credit-much to Amazon’s credit. We emphasized the need for Amazon to check lot numbers and get rid of any food they still might have with those numbers.

15 of the tins are in good condition. However, these 9 tins are severely dented. Not sure if it is still ok to feed it to my 2 cats.
