Great quality slow feed bowl
This is a really nice feeding bowl. It has a nice weight and feel to it. The silicone insert that adds the challenge to the feeding is really nicely made. It adheres to the bowl really well with multiple mini suction cups. It is easily removed for washing. The bottom has a rubber piece that also adheres by multiple suction cups and also is removed easily in spite of how well it does secure to the bowl. It amazed me how quickly and easily the suction cups took hold of the bowl. You donât have to push down or anything. Just lay it on the bowl and it is secure. It really keeps the bowl from sliding around on the floor during eating. I love how much our huskies love these slow feeding bowls. You can see a nose in my photos sniffing this out. Lol. I fed him in it right away, and he took right to it.

It’s ok, could be more challenging.
Subjective observations:I got this for my 9mos, 50# Doodle puppy to help slow her down. This is effective, just not as effective as I would have liked. The little silicone ‘wings’ are just not robust enough to slow her down very much. Even when I concentrate the food in the center section, it’s still not much of a challenge for her.Objective observations:Very high quality metal bowl.The silicone is decent quality. It hasn’t chipped, torn or broken.The silicone grippy device on the bottom is fantastic too! It has stayed in place 100% of the time it’s been in use.IT IS SOOO EASY TO CLEAN!!! 1000% Love this aspect of this set-up! The slow-feeders I have had before are so tedious to clean with lots of hard to clean crevices. Not this one!! This one fact alone is why it gets 4 stars and not 3.

The insert fits in my other stainless steel bowls.
I think this is a nice slow feeder. I like the stainless steel bowl and it is nice that the insert can come out so I can clean the bowl well. The insert also fits in my other stainless steel bowls which is great. It really does slow down my dog from eating so fast and getting sick. Great design, great product.

Flimsy section dividers
Flimsy section dividers were easily torn with just a few weeks of feeding. I liked the metal bowl and the suction cup on the bottom of the bowl, but unfortunately, this bowl did not work as a slow feeder for my dog.

So effective
I was really kind of surprised how much this feeder slowed my puppy down in her eating. It slows her down yet doesn’t have places she just can’t get the food out.The fact the slow feed part can be removed means you can use it in a different bowl. I’m happy with the suction cups holding the slow feed part in the bowl. I was surprised how strong they are.The non-slip bottom piece is removable in the same way too. The quality over all is very good. I’ve been trying different slow feed bowls, and it’s one of my favorites. I highly recommend ordering this bowl.

Great quality! All the materials feel solid!
First of all, the stainless bowl is of good quality. It has some weight to it and looks immaculate from the inside to outside. Not sure how to describe it but I know that compare to my old stainless steel bowl, this one is way better. Then the rubber part, also really good material. They feel solid yet flexible and sturdy, also has some weight to it. I wouldnât worry if my dog chews on it on accident while eating. Itâs nice that the inside part has suction cups so you can remove it easily to wash separately from the bowl. So many little suction cups, it sticks to the bowl well. Over all itâs a really well made bowl.

Not Slow Feeding, but Definitely Slower than Before
We got this for a young Portuguese Water Dog who scarfs down everything she sees that is even vaguely edible. She has very long legs so she is fed on an elevated bowl system. The bowl that came with the slow feeder was too big for the stand, so we don’t use it. We put the silicone system in her slightly smaller stainless steel bowl and it works quite well. She took to it right away. The suction cups on the bottom of the curved baffles keeps it in place nicely. I don’t think she will ever be a slow feeder, but this system has slowed her down somewhat and that is a good thing. I like that it is easy to fill, easy to clean and seems easy for her to still finish every bit of her food. Happy with this feeding system.

High Quality Stainless Slow Feeder
I needed a new bowl for a custom food & water stand we bought at a flea market. After much searching, I found this bowl, which was the right measurement to fit in the stand. I wanted stainless steel because it’s better quality than the cheap plastic ones and will hold up over time. Since learning about how eating too fast is bad for dogs, I’ve been wanting to find a slow feeder. I’m happy with this one! It looks exactly as shown in the listing photo, with removable silicone pieces that can be easily cleaned. It fits plenty of food, and distributes the food in a way that ensures she only eats a small amount at a time.
