Love it for the price!
My tiny kitty has been puking a lot lately, and Iâve taken her to the vet for it multiple times just to find nothing ($1000 a pop ð¤¦ââï¸). Iâm convinced itâs because she scarfs her food down like a piglet that has never been fed. I picked this up for treats and dry food, for wet food Iâm picking up a different slow feeder. Itâs a good size, not too big not too small. Sheâs figuring out how to use it, definitely slows her down. Easy enough to turn the plates and different size slots are perfect for different size treats and food. I just got it tonight so fingers crossed this will resolve the puking, either way itâs a good contraption for food or treats to slow them down and make them think a little. Only thing is it does slide around a bit, an improvement would be suction cups or to be weighed down just a bit more so I donât have to worry about it being pushed off the counter for a messy free for all. Hasnât happened but definitely probably will. Maybe a mat would help.

Purrfect!
I periodically use this puzzle to give my little guy treats, and I absolutely love that it allows him to exercise his mind and work towards a goal. Normally, he gobbles treats up, but this puzzle helps him eat a bit slower.He figured it out pretty quicklyâ¦heâs so smart. ð»

No more throwing up!
Iâve been using this for almost 2 months now and it does the job for my long haired cat. He had a tendency to inhale his food and immediately run over to his sisterâs bowl to try and eat her food as well. This caused him to throw up his food on a few occasions and I realized I needed a solution. This has done the trick and now they both can finish their meal at roughly the same time and no more throw up for me to clean up!

Not only does this keep my kitty from eating too fast and begging for more, it also keeps the dog out of the bowl. 10/10 for sure this is worth the purchase if your cat is eating too fast.

A better toy than it is a feeder.
Teaching my little fella how to use the bowl was easy enough; he’s a Bombay and they’re a fairly smart breed. The problem is that the feeding compartments are far too tiny for him to extract much kibble using either his paws or his teeth. I wanted something to give him a little extra stimulation and play during the days when I’m off at work, but if he can’t get enough to eat out of it then it’s not a suitable bowl for feeding. He even looked up at me after about 15 futile seconds of trying to dig out more food, as if wordlessly calling me an imbecile for thinking this thing was a good idea.But, what do you know? The box even says not to leave a cat unsupervised with this thing, so it was apparently supposed to be worthless for my intended usage all along. Shame on me, I guess, but since I needed a bowl he could actually EAT from, that’s the criteria I’m going to judge this thing by.

Definitely makes my cat eat slower
I think the wells the food goes into are too deep. My cat constantly leaves little bites and chunks of food that he won’t eat in it. It does what it’s supposed to do
