A must have during Winter!
I bought this for some street cats that wonât let me adopt them. Iâve been feeding two of them for over a year and one still wonât let me touch her. The calico has a young one that will not come near us. With the snow coming to central Texas I was desperately worried about my furry friends. I put this on the bottom of a cat shelter that I purchased last year. I put the heating mat down and covered it with straw so they could seek shelter. These work very well , not super hot so the cats wonât get hurt. It has a temperature selection of 1 thru 9 and timer of 1-12 hours. I have one at the front and side doors. My husband covered a small part of the deck with plastic and I put a small heater in there with a pet bed. They have shelter if they want it. (Check your local city for trap and release programs to get stray cats fixed and vaccinated. Iâm on the waiting list again.)

My Cat and Wife love this
Our cat, Baker, loves this so much during the winter time. We bought it a while ago and it still works great. The material is easy to clean/wipe. It comes with a soft cover as well. The temp is not too hot and is adjustable. We even got a second one for different rooms for our cat. My wife lowkey will warm her feet on these too so it has multiple uses.

The pooch says: ehh.. it’s OK
Super hard for me to properly rate this since i’m not the user of it and the pooch can’t really write yet! From a build quality, it’s pretty good.Removable cover so it can be washed. The pad is large enough for small dogs to fit on fully and larger dogs could lay across. The control is nice. It’s has a timer so you don’t have to worry about leaving it on for too long and causing issues. The temperature is different from human blankets. It doesn’t get anywhere near as warm as my own blankets. In setting 1 or 2, I can barely feel it.However, I think that is a very good thing because my dog doesn’t have a high tolerance for heat. As much as we human like to cuddle under a warm blanket, the dog goes there, sits a bit and then moves off.So I think and in my opinion, they did correctly and set the temperature for each of the 9 settings to be lower than what humans like and more like what dogs / cats like. From a usability point of view, hard to say if it was worth getting. The pooch hasn’t learned that if its cold, it could go sit on this. I have to move it manually over there and put it on the blanket. It then gets comfortable for a while and then moves on.Overall though, for $27 is worth a shot to see if you pet likes it

Nice product, has a timer!
Nice Product. Picture I took has a gift card on it for mental size reference, but it’s about a foot square. The pad itself seems to be waterproof, but it also has a simple thin fleece covering that zips on and off (similar to a throw pillow cover). It’s straight forward to operate, and has a timer. Perfect for my indoor kitties. It does specifically state on the instructions that it is not for outdoor use (in case you were thinking for strays or something, I wouldn’t recommend it). It also states that it is designed to give more of a subtle, hold your hand on it for 30 seconds to feel the warmth, not a “woohoo, that’s warm” like a heated blanket (in case any other reviewers didn’t read that in the directions and complain about it). I think that was smart- they don’t want any little Kit Kats or pups getting burns. Lastly- the cord that comes out of the blanket itself seems pretty chew proof ( the black cord in the pictures. It then changes to a typical cord after leaving the control unit (white))I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works ok but my cat tried to rip it apart

cats more interested in cord than pad
I thought this would be great for cold months. However, our kittens only nap/sit on it for short periods of time. Most days they ignore it. I assume it’s because it doesn’t get as warm as I was expecting it to. Would be great if the heating pad is cordless since one of our kittens like biting on the cord. Fabric is soft and comfortable. Has a timer.

Excellent Cat Recharging Pad
Cat’s have an operating temperature range of approximately 1.25 degrees farhrenheit. Anything above that range and they splay out in the bathtub or shower floor for escape from the heat. Anything below that and they superglue themselves to your lap or the top of the your electronics to avoid (obvious) frostbite. As much as I enjoy a bit of fuzz therapy on my lap, le tigre needs to have another place to comfortably crash during these long winter nights. This little device fits the bill perfectly. We laid it on top of their existing cat bed (which they generally eschew for anything else but the cat bed) and plugged it in. It fit the space well and has a nice, soft texture. The controls have a simple on/off switch; once powered up, it stays on for two hour intervals. During that time, you can adjust the warmth from one to nine. Our kitters currently like their toe beans toasted at level five but that’s apt to change as the mercury plummets.Good quality, happy kitties.
