Dogs love these.
These keep my dogs busy for hours and days,great price for my pack. Sometimes the hooves break and smaller shards are not safe, plus the shards can be messy. Doesn’t negatively affect their digestion.

I bought a 6 pack back in Feb 2024. It’s Jan 2025 and I have 1 left.These last forever and I end up throwing it out once it gets thinner and smaller.I know people are concern of potential shards but I only noticed it once the ends gets thinned out and my dog bites hard at the edges.I also monitor my dog so if I were to hear a loud crunch sound, I would remove it immediately. He’s also a small dog and has a harder time swallowing big chunks.I still recommend this since its a natural chew and helps removes plaque and tar. Great for my dog to pass time as well.

Yorkie loves them
I was looking for more natural treats for my Yorkie, I tried this brands chicken legs and loved them. So when I saw these hoods I was interested. The hoofs have a shape that is easy for my 4 pound senior dog to move around. I like that the bag is made out of sugar cane, and that these are rawhide free. We got chicken flavor and the dog loved it, the filling is like a packed playdough concistantcy and isnât too hard or soft. My dog had no diarrhea with these surprisingly because he has a sensitive tummy. The price is amazing because you get so many in the bag. These are clean and smooth with a dull point. And their size is big for my Yorkie but not too big that the boy canât get a hold of them. These have a slight smell but you canât smell it unless you put it up to your nose, smell Is slightly salty. These last for a long time because they are packed and the dog licks and nibbles on them over the corse of 3 days or more.

DON’T BUY! ALMOST KILLED MY FUR BABY!
This is my first review and I hope someone learns from my terrible mistake so that their pet doesn’t go through what my baby did. I’ve been buying these cow hooves for my 3 dogs, 2 pits and a GS, for months with no issues. Idk if they changed. She vomited 10x in the first hour. The first couple of times it was the huge chunks, bigger than my thumb, and the last time it was tiny chewed pieces. My husband had to leave work because I’m disabled and take her to the emergency vet. It cost me $500 just for the ER vet visit and anti-nausea injection. They wanted $500 for after hours x-rays, and $5,000 for emergency surgery if she had a bowel obstruction. We did the injection and monitored her over the weekend because we couldn’t afford it and they didn’t take care credit. I forget how much we spent on this special food and medication. It was absolutely heart- wrenching watching her knowing that there was nothing I could do to help her. I would not buy these even if you paid me a million dollars. It’s not worth losing your pet over. Thankfully she is back to herself. Don’t risk it. They don’t even last long and they smell awful too.

Took me a while to figure out what the rotten egg smell was in my room. Turns out it was these!! An absolute horrid smell. Dog enjoys them though. But they do break off into small easy to choke on pieces. Probably wouldn’t order again. Petco has better smelling ones.

I have a hound dog and she chews up bones like their crackers, but with these hooves she loves to chew on them for weeks at a time, and they still hold their shapeEven my little terrier loves munching on these bones. Also, itâs a great product for them to chew on for many many hours. Absolutely love it.

Underwhelmed
I was a bit disappointed with these hooves as they broke sharp pieces off rather quickly. I have 2 dachshunds that I wanted to give a safe chewing experience with but I spent most of the time digging jagged pieces of hoof out of their mouth. I haven’t had this issue before so I don’t know why these were different and it was just a few of them but all of them so they got thrown away.
