Faulty, phone support was insanely unhelpful
So I wanted this to work. Itâs a neat idea when youâre boiling alive in the summer. Unfortunately the water doesnât seem to reach the front of the vest. Circulates at times but then the pump makes weird noises and stops.I called their support phone number to ask about the pump and how to drain the lines. As the instruction say âhang it upside downâ. Well that leaves water inside the lines⦠so how do we purge them for storage? Their âcooling specialistâ on the phone could not answer that question. She said âread the instructionsâ. I told her I did and they didnât help, she said âIâll email you a copy of the instructions is there anything else I can help you with?âStill wonât answer my question. Then she hung up on me. I was in no way rude about it, just asking for some help with their product. I called back and the phone goes to voicemailSo clearly whoever sells this has no interest at all in fixing their product or answering basic questions.Like why do the instructions talk about different power level settings? I see nowhere to adjust that. But they wonât answer that either.For $200 you think youâd be getting something that A. Works, and B, has a company behind it that cares even a little.I was even going to try a diffent style of vest from them but itâs really clear that buying from a different company than Alpha Cool is the smarter choice.

It Works
I’m in maintenance. I used this while working outside. I had a little trouble turning it on. The pump works well and it became comfortable. I wore a t-shirt underneath and it was a little hot. The fabric it is made with generates heat when out in the sun. It cooled well in the back. I couldn’t really feel it in the front. I believe it is because it weighs more in the back. I plan to continue using it. I am happy with my purchase.

Really disappointed
First let me start by saying this is not my 1st cooling vest most and I believe this was the 4th purchase from this company . The first purchase was the compcooler monovest. I really liked it however you had a chance to the fog and then it would leak all over me. So after I got used out of it I upgraded to the newer model, I was very happy with that model because they added the quick connects and a filter when that one got old I got the same model but I got the backpack one so I could wear The cooling garment under my clothes. It was my favorite to date however, my one gripe was it actually worked too well and it caused the ice to melt too fast. It would have been great if it had a speed control. So this time I was trying to choose whether to get this one or to go back with a comp cooler and the only reason I chose this one was in the listing it says that it had an adjustable speed. Let me tell you it does not. They’re advertising that it is multi-speed, but it is most certainly not. On top of that, it is way too short I don’t have time to go through the whole returns. Crap I just wanted to let everyone know that this model is not anything like the comp cooler and it’s nowhere near as good.

Super cool vest fits nice When you turn it on, it does have noise to it, but it’s not too loud. Sounds like a pump.

Worth the buy!
It works as intended, keeps your body cool for long periods of time. Only thing is you have to keep cycling through the ice packs pretty often to keep the water cool if in hot weather. As long as the ice packs are switched often, it works perfectly. The power bank seems to work well past the 8 hours stated in the description in my case. Size fits well and seems to be well adjustable for all sizes. Seems well put together and wont rip or break easily. Also isn’t bulky or heavy at all. Definitely worth the buy in my opinion!

Works pretty well
This vest does everything it says itâs suppose to. It keeps you cool for a long time and the battery lasts. I think the price is good for what you get. The vest is heavy duty and the power bank is a great quality

It’s a little more than I wanted to spend but worth it. It seems to very well put together, I think it is going to last a long time. Easy to clean and get it ready.. It doesn’t weigh me down and it’ll fit just about everyone.. very easy to use.
